Wizard of Za serves a mean pizza and being a Youngstown native I can really appreciate what they’re bringing to Central Ohio. But in the 3x I’ve ordered from them since opening, including today, I’ve been severely disappointed by their lack of service. Their phones go unanswered, website often glitches and their customer service is abysmal. Today I ordered 2 pies at 10am for pickup at 12pm, and despite being late to pickup I was told they were just putting them in. An order that needed to be picked up at 12p wasn’t ready until 12:45pm, which is just unacceptable. I wish I would've went to Jet's for a much better pizza at half the price and I don't really like Jet's. I prefer local owned quality places. I heard such great things about this place but it has changed ownership unfortunately and become a profits over quality chain restaurant. The dough is premade full of preservatives, probably GFS ordered. Cheese tastes like the fake Sysco processed kind, tastes like nothing actually. My receipt shows red sauce and mushrooms, pineapple but as you can see none of that was on it. Which I could've overlooked if this za was even edible. I live in the area and had some family in town and decided to try this place since our favorite pizza place was closed, we were quite disappointed.I ordered at 6:50pm and the email said it would be ready by 7:10. We ordered 4 specialty pizzas so I assumed it would take longer than usual, so I arrived at 7:15. They looked busy behind the counter fulfilling orders and I told them my name and they didn’t give me an eta. At 7:33, they asked me again what my name was and told me it was delayed due to computer problems and would be 5-10 more minutes. I ended up getting the pizzas at 7:54pm which was 44 minutes late.The pizza was pretty good, but pesto rosso came without pesto which was a letdown....
A huge letdown. Based on the reviews, it seems the excitement and quality have really declined. We finally visited this restaurant on January 28 and can't understand why people were eagerly waiting months just to get a pizza here. The crust was nearly burnt, and the pizza lacked flavor. We won't be ordering from them again and are disappointed that we didn't experience it when it was still good.

I recently discovered this restaurant on National Pizza Day, and I was really impressed with both the food and service. I tried the Briar Hill pizza, and it was exactly what I needed to bring back memories of the Youngstown style I grew up with. Next time, I'll definitely order a side of extra sauce for dipping!
Horrible service. While waiting, I heard more curse words than anything else. Couldn't get help cause cell phones are more important than customers. When she finally got ready to talk about our order she had the worse attitude ever. Will never be back! Atmospheres are everything!!!
I ordered the Build Your Own Pizza for delivery at work, and even though I couldn't eat it immediately, it was still excellent. I can't wait to order again and enjoy it fresh and hot. The ingredients were high quality, and the bread had a delightful crunch.
Been wan to try sine the Covid shut down.. So sad to say we were disappointed. It was fine, but only that. Fine. Very doughy and WAY too spicy for me. My wife likes spice so she was fine with it. Oh well! Just not for me. Im sure some will love it.

Great Garlic knots are hard to come by. WOZ makes them hot, fresh, with amazing flavor! Pair with dipping sauce for that extra kick. Will pickup again!
The 3 people working last night were so sweet and fun to talk to! I loved the pizza brownie I got as well. 10/10 will be back!
