Went for lunch this past Sunday with a friend from college. She chose it because it was wheelchair accessible and it was as was the restroom. As I arrived before my friend, I was greeted promptly and politely by Tyler who immediately offered me a table to wait at and a large mason jar with ice water (it was the 90degree Sunday). When my friend arrived, our drink and food orders were taken promptly by Anthony (who was a gentleman). Let me mention that all the while there was a birthday party going on in the outdoor patio space. I have been in other places that when a party is taking place, the servers take on a frenzied tone. This was not the case. Our food (shrimp and grits, fish and chips)...
I was in the area and saw this cute place, so I decided to have lunch from here. I didn?t give 5 stars because there isn?t any parking, the frozen jungle juice had absolutely NO alcohol even though the host stated that it has vodka and when I got my food and went back to my car there was no forks, spoons, napkins in the bag. Otherwise the grits and shrimp was very good a bit spicy if you like that. The ?Wiches? Cajun fish sandwich was good and the fried Oreos were delicious ?! They weren?t overly expensive so that?s also a plus! However, on my receipt I was charged a ?Custom Amount? and ?cc? fee; not quite sure what that?s about. I would come back for the food as far as the alcoholic frozen...
The Wooden Spoon offers absolutely delicious burgers, outstanding service, reasonable prices, and a welcoming staff, creating a fantastic dining experience. The outdoor seating area is very pleasant as well. During our visit, both Yankees and Mets games were playing on the TVs above the bar, which added to the enjoyment! The menu has something for everyone. Highly recommended!
This restaurant is a cozy and charming place. The food was fantastic, and the customer service was excellent. I ordered the Honey Fried Chicken and Grits, which I really enjoyed. The only reason I'm not giving a 5-star rating is that they don't offer a pork bacon alternative. Other than that, there are several other dishes I’d love to try on my next visit!

I stopped by this restaurant briefly because I had a play to catch, and I was impressed by the good food and ambiance. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish my cocktail or the rest of my meal because I was in a hurry! But I definitely plan to return!
The Wooden Spoon in New Rochelle is a fantastic restaurant with welcoming and attentive staff. The food was delicious, and the menu offers something for everyone. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience, and so did my friends. Highly recommended!
Couldn't find a thing I didn't like, staff was friendly and food was on point, definitely a chill homey vibe with good drinks (and music) Loved the pretzels, lemonade, steak sandwich and Mac and cheese
Enjoyed a delicious brunch right before catching a movie! The **** Mary was so good and the maple chicken and bacon and grits? deeelicious. Definitely recommending snd returning to try something else.

We stopped here quickly to catch a game. The food and atmosphere were great! It's a shame I couldn't finish my cocktail and the rest of my meal because I had to rush off, but I'll definitely be back!
I'm new to the area and exploring local spots. I went here for happy hour. The drinks and food were good and reasonably priced. Very good experience.
