I have been to the Wye Inn a few times and have never been disappointed but this time!! I took my 8 year old Granddaughter for a treat. We moved first as there were kids screaming in the inside play area. Chose our food and waited and waited, there were probably three other tables as well as ours so hardly run off their feet. It was like the YT 's had been left in charge. I got someone else 's order apology given. We had beef burger for my Granddaughter and it was as flat as a pancake, vile looking thing. If I could give zero stars, I would have, as giving this restaurant even one star implies there was something positive about my experience. The staff were incredibly rude and had a bad attitude, almost as if it were Karen's diner with the disrespectful language they used. They seemed to believe that anyone over the age of 30 must have poor hearing. The restaurant was filthy, with sticky tables and inedible food. We chose not to complain because it was clear that the staff would not listen or care. We recently visited The Wye Inn for my niece's birthday where there were 18 of us in total. We all had tables near each other and close to the play area since we had young children. The staff were very busy but still welcoming, making sure we were all okay. The food was delicious and we even stayed for dessert, which was also fantastic. Despite being super busy, the staff took the time to bring out my niece's birthday cake with candles lit and sang happy birthday to her. Thank you so much to The Wye Inn and their wonderful staff!
Rude incompetent staff, Food not fit to feed a dog, Priced like there a city centre restaurant, ordered a full English, Dry baked beans in a tiny pot, One piece of burnt bacon, cold hash brown. Went with a work group, 22 in total staff and residents , steer clear, go to Maccies,, Better quality food and more helpful staff, Sticky tables. Toilets no better than public toilets next to swimming baths.

My go-to pub is The Wye Inn. They offer a wide variety of food options, and I especially enjoy their carvery. The prices are very affordable compared to other places in Hereford. It is a great spot for families, with a nice outdoor play area and a recently renovated soft play area inside.
Fantastic food lunch or evening meal as well as an amazing Sunday carvery. Atmosphere is friendly service never disappoints. Great place for kids too with indoor outdoor space for them to play.
Great Surroundings GREAT FOOD A MUST EXPERIENCE IT WAS OUR 1ST VISIT but Certainly NOT Our Last now we have found it we will be frequent diners!!!
Great for kids. Pet friendly. Lovely atmosphere. Outside has been refurbished, nice space. Highly recommend. Lovely food and friendly staff.
