We visited late morning on a Tuesday to play a round of golf and have a late lunch. The pro staff were welcoming and helpful. There is a practise putting green which was in excellent condition. The Score card is not helpful with the course...layout or routes between holes. Also there is a code number of the day printed on the front to allow access across the roads through automatic gates. We found the confusion of finding the next hole was easily solved by following the concrete/tarmac cart path, DOH! The course is challenging and in great condition. We booked for Mother’s Day for a group of ten. In short, they take a pre order but no mention of a deposit, however should all numbers not attend (we were two down of ten due to unavoidable circs) they still charge for non attendees...but don’t let you take food off premises!? Non of this was mentioned in the many conversations I had when enquiringly/booking/ordering. Food nice Sunday lunch) but room lacked atmosphere. I did complain and was offered a voucher but I didn’t want to spend any more money than we already had there. Bit of a spoiler for our Mothers Day!
Having paid per person I expected the Xmas Day lunch to be good! Not so.. the food was terrible, starter of smoked salmon and prawns was tasteless, poor quality prawns, no flare whatsoever. The main was very bad, turkey arrived with all the veg...(apart from broccoli cheese) on the plate, all piled up like you’d expect at a cheap pub, mash was cold! Very poor quality ingredients/veg used and all over cooked. Pudding was ok! Ordered coffee tea and all came already in the cup (no tea pot)! All paid up front
The Wynyard Golf Club is by far the nicest golf club in the area. I attended our company golf day last year which was the first time I havd visited the club. The course itsself is fantastic and was in outstanding condition. The club...was also exceptional. The course meal provided was of great quality and the service was good. I would recommend playing at the Wynyard Golf Club whenever the opportunity may arise. I hope to return to the golf day to experience it all over again.

service and eating were exceptional, and that was a weekly afternoon and evening trip from us and we couldn't owe it. it seems that the staff no longer care, they have all lost manure, and show little want that. satisfied the customers. they stop selling food when they are out of stock, even if they are advertised as eating until and they need serious to sort dinge, or they will have little custom to look for.
Called in for a quick drink but food looked good so ended up eating. Light and spacious with a terrace and views overlooking the course. Menu not too extensive but plenty of options. Fish and chips, chicken kiev were both delicious. Home cooked and large...portions. Service was friendly and relaxed. Great value, quality food. Looking forward to sampling the rest of the menu.
I visited a high time here and what a fantastic place that was. the staff was great and very helpful, highly organized and very courteous. eating was absolutely delicious, really well presented and served efficiently. I can only praise everyone involved. Thank you. for a really great day.
an amazing and exclusive place for golf, but they can also fall as non-players eating and drinking. it has a large menu that eats out of this word and they also have some great beers. the personal is also fantastic, great service!

completely the hill went down, dry meat. it looked like a school. no taste. the service was terrible. did not ask how that was eating and the price has risen, which is creepy when considering that eating and service has expired.
Great venue for a party and the food was delicious The staff were very friendly and helpful. They also have a great seating area outside.
