I had a sandwich which I believe was called the rose? The sandwich was fantastic and at a super reasonable price. Serving size was not quite enough to fill me up but since items are so cheap I had a cup of chilli which was super rich and I was glad it came with a nice thick slice of sourdough to cut and balance the delicious chilli would recommend and I will surely visit again.Kid-friendliness: Has a kid menuParking: None near by your in Nelson hahaWheelchair accessibility: Would be quite hard to access with a wheelchair
After eating at this location many times we started to have conversations with the waiters and quickly found out this is a child abusing and wife beating cult called The Twelve Tribes. The yellow deli has locations across the US, Canada, Japan, Argentina, Australia and China. They live in communal buildings and all profits are given the the head of this cult, tips and all. I would never eat here if you don’t agree with the exploitation of people for free labor and/or the abuse of women and children.
I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant. The service was prompt, and the food was tasty. Our server was extremely friendly. Even though the restaurant is affiliated with a particular religion, we were treated just like any other guests. There was no mention of it, and at no point did we feel uncomfortable or judged.
The location is spectacular and the atmosphere is incredibly cozy—truly beautiful. The dishes at the Yellow Deli are not only delicious but also made with exceptional care, featuring organic, natural, and handmade ingredients. The staff is very attentive. Stopped here to grab sandwiches to go really enjoyed our whole experience! The interior of this business is quite lovely and I hope to return to enjoy more of the atmosphere.The staff are very accommodating they cleared off a table for us so that we could sit while waiting for our order and brought us water as well.
The food here is astoundingly tasty yet wholesome. My favorite place in Nelson, easily. The atmosphere is so earthly authentic. Servers moves comfortably so I feel like I'm not eating in a hussle. Highly recommended.
The food was substantial and satisfying. The ambiance was distinctive and had a cozy, hidden vibe. I tried their freshly pressed apple juice, and it was absolutely delicious.
