As a vegan who lives nearby, I want to love this place. The first time, two years ago, they left out a couple of extras and the food was cold, so we stayed away. However, I thought with all the recent positive reviews, we'd give them another chance. This time, though, the stuff that got left out was more than a minor mistake. They left off a side of potatoes and not only did they not include the extra sauce (which you pay extra for), not one of the three katsu curries we got had any sauce whatsoever, just dry chick'n fingers on brown rice, nothing curry about it. As a vegan who lives nearby, I wanted to love this restaurant. Two years ago, during our first visit, they missed some items and the food was cold, so we decided to stay away. However, after reading recent positive reviews, we decided to give them another chance. Unfortunately, this time, the mistakes were more than just small errors. They forgot to include one side of potatoes, did not provide the extra sauce we paid for, and all three Katsu Curries we ordered came with dry chicken fingers on brown rice, lacking any curry flavor. I’ve ordered from here a few times and am grateful for the diverse amount of vegan options. It feels a little pricey, but the quality is always high and the food is filling. I started eating here before going vegan, and at the time enjoyed the eggs in the brunch bowls. It was nice to be able to order from here without much difference after making the choice to change the way I eat. My current favourite is the grounding brunch bowl, made vegan they add tofu instead of eggs and have a vegan aoli. I just feel good after eating it too.

I love the brunch bowls at this restaurant! My go-to is the Prana bowl with avocados. It is milk-free, gluten-free, and vegetarian (contains eggs, but you can ask for it without). They also offer many vegan options. The Yoga Chef-Café is located 30 minutes away from my house, but it is definitely worth the trip. I updated my rating on February 5, 2023.

they have some bowls and salads to choose - definitiw come back! very fresh tasting, I had the Kitchari dish, loved the mix of roasted cocose with grains and fresh green. hubby had the sacrum salad and it was very tasty, especially the rye claws.
