Found this place by accident so pulled in for a coffee and comfort break, having been in the saddle for 5 hours. I decided to have a quick snack so chose cheese on toast. Nothing too complicated and something a 1st year university student couldn't mess up. It took over 20 minutes to come, and there were very few waiting for their food, so not a challenge. When the food finally arrived I was stunned. I nearly broke the plate it came on tapping the crust on it. It was rock hard and certainly didn't resemble any cheese I'd ever seen. Not sure what culinary school the cook went to but they could do with a few extra lessons. At least the coffee and cake was passable.
we have English breakfasts wide and wide around derbyshire and environment (as well as in north yorkshire and further afield and can recommend a long marge, yondermann cafe breakfast as top of the list by far. we plan the majority of our daytrip routes to include this caffe whenever we can. if I'm cheating on my strict nutrition with a frit, this is where I go to make everything worthwhile:
This restaurant is the ideal spot for breakfast. I would be willing to travel there, even if it meant crossing the entire country. The staff is superb, the service is exceptional, and the owner is incredibly polite. I am eagerly anticipating when I can fix my bike and return to enjoy a delicious breakfast at this wonderful place.
This cafe is consistently busy on weekends and attracts a diverse clientele. It is child-friendly, dog-friendly, and has a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is lovely, the menu is reasonable with regular specials. While it may not be cheap, the portions are generous and the prices are comparable to other similar establishments. Stopped here for the first time after many years of riding past, it was worth it. Great food and quick and pleasant service. I had the Yonderman Breakfast which comes with tea or coffee and toast. Plenty of food and all nicely cooked. Large car/bike park and lots of seating both indoors and out.
£13.75 for a big Yondermann breakfast with wafer thin black pudding and chipolata sausages toast coffee(I chose not to have beans or tomatoes) Service friendly helpful and efficient Steep price, produce quality ok but not lifechanging Toilet flooded again (was last time I visited too)
Excellent location up in the peaks. Food quality is good and prices reflect the current financial climate. Staff team are friendly and the cafe itself is cosy with good outdoor seating areas too. Parking is easy. Oh and the cake selection is yummy

Loads of parking, bike friendly, friendly staff and wonderful food. Local suppliers and produce. Highly recommend the rocky road!
