My parents and I have been going to thelmas pretty much since they opened and the food was always good. That all changed yesterday when our party of 6 had lunch there. The waitress took our order right away which was great. It's around 12:15 when we got there. A few of us got salads with our meal, the waitress forgot our salads so we had to ask for them. She brought our salads out and the salad was gross. The lettuce was soggy and wilted, it had a sprinkle of cheese and 2 cucumbers. We did not get our food until over an hour later. Less than ten minutes later, our appetizers arrived piping hot. About ten minutes after that, our main courses were finally served. Unfortunately, the steak and mashed potatoes were cold, the burger and mac and cheese were also cold, and the Philly cheesesteak was only barely warm. Reluctantly, we decided to send the food back and requested to have it served hot.
When our meals came out a second time, they were finally good! However, the waitress made an error; she should have been honest about forgetting to place the appetizer order and should have served our main courses hot right away instead of letting them sit while preparing the appetizers. What an amazing place! Whether you sit inside or outside, you can't go wrong—everything is beautifully arranged. We enjoyed some appetizers and were thoroughly impressed! There's a lovely river walk and a stunning view of the tree-covered hills from the deck. Our server was incredible, and the house wine was delicious! After our meal, we crossed the parking lot to catch one of our favorite singers with his new band. This might sound strange, but the bathroom trailers at the concert were surprisingly classy—definitely the nicest I've ever encountered! Overall, it was a fantastic experience; if I could give more stars, I definitely would. The bartenders and staff were all very friendly. Bravo!
The food was terrible, and the service was even worse. The waitress didn't check on us at all after delivering our meals; instead, she spent 20 minutes chatting with another table. When she finally brought our check, she just placed it down without saying a word. As a result, she didn’t receive a tip. Additionally, the beer served in the pavilion was warm. I definitely won't be returning. It used to be a nice spot, but that’s no longer the case. Oh, and despite their advertising that the band would start at 8 PM, they didn't actually begin until after 9 PM.

Food was disgusting service was worse. Waitress never came to check on us after bringing our food instead she stood at another table talking to them for 20 minutes. Brought our check put it down and said nothing. Needless to say she got no tip. The beerout in the pavilion was was not cold. Will never go back there. Used to be a nice place not anymore. Oh and they advertised thatthe band went on at 8pm they never started till after 9pm.
Thelma's has become one of the go to places for good food at a decent price. On a recent visit I had the club sandwich. Very tasty. Nice size and the fries were fresh. They do have a wide variety of offerings. Good atmosphere also if you have a large group. Staff is always friendly and I know the management cares. Highly recommend this place. Could be a 5 star place.
Nice atmosphere and good service. The food is good, enjoyed the items from the smoker. Also a nice large patio area and bar. Update: Nice that they continue the additions to the menu from the smoker. The brisket sliders are great.

I gave this restaurant two chances, but both times I experienced poor service and incorrect orders. The prices are too high for the quality of food offered. I cannot recommend it.
Menu items and drinks are priced fairly high compared to nearby restaurants. But the food and service is always on point. They never disappoint, it's just tough on the wallet.
