If you're stopping in Witch's Hat, make sure to also stop in Third Monk Brewing which is within walking distance. The brewery has lots of seating. It has a rectangular shape with warm red walls and a piano up front with lots of table and chairs and seating at the bar too. I want to say they had around six beers on tap. When we walked in, the brewery was filled with the spicy delicious aroma of curry. Third Monk doesn't have a kitchen but on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays they make chili, curry, and stroganoff cooked in a slow cooker and it rotates each week. went into third monk brewery for the first time. I always drive past it and wanted to check them out love ipas.. . Sat down and had my order taken and was a bit rudely rushed when I was figuring out what I wanted. ordered a great sounding 10 dollar ipa which looked great .i was asked if I was staying for the band that in 30 mins they will be on and a 7 dollar cover charge per person.i told the guy serving me that I'm not staying long enough for the band that I'm here to try the ipa and check out the local business . Was told I had to pay a cover then took the drink from the table when I was going to have it and said I had to pay a cover charge! He Walked away with the order .the band wasn't...
Back turned to me. I went in looking for wine making supplies. Also needed to get a keg of beer for my wedding, but whoever was at the counter was quick to lead me on to Ann Arbor. Seemed irritated by my business. So I'll go to A2 for my wine supplies and get a keg of Beer elsewhere next year. They must have great business or not with that customer service. Beer selection didn't look tasty anyhow. Never know? Won't be back
We decided to take a drive to visit this restaurant, and what a find! This small, single-story building is the home of a man who is passionate about craft beer (delicious) and live performances. The intimate space provides great sound support for the music, and we truly appreciated it. It feels like a warm glove, making it a very special listening room. We are now new fans of this place. As a local, I have happily become a regular at this restaurant. They have a great rotating selection of seasonally appropriate beers. In addition to being a great brewer, Jeff is very friendly and accommodating. They also have a nice variety of food that is made in-house. It's a great place to hang out with great music and atmosphere. I highly recommend it.
This place is a hidden gem! With excellent attention to detail, a clear passion for craft beer, and a great ambiance with live music, this spot is definitely worth a visit – don't just walk by, make sure to stop in!

I found this hidden gem in South Lyon! The beer was great and I really enjoyed the pork tacos. The atmosphere was nice as well.
