For what this place is trying to be. I think it just about nails it. The staff are really friendly, especially the wonderful gentleman who was working on the evening of Feb 14, 2023! I took off points for the atmosphere because while the staff were very nice, wholesome, and welcoming, the overall look of the place and the seating felt pretty uninspired. The place had some neat historical elements of the company and timelines on the walls, but nothing really to spruce up the comfort value of the place and make you want to stay long. I hope they change out the seating and tables in the future for something better. Overall a very good experience though and a great welcome into Georgia!
The worst $40 I ever spent. I never knew food could taste so horrible! I wanna say the staff was extremely nice. Environment was clean and welcoming. However the food tasted disgusting. I ordered the 3jumbo wings with Mac and cheese,and string beans. That was for my nephew. For myself I ordered the rib tips,broccoli cheese casserole,and collard greens. The chicken was huge. My nephew only ate the Mac and strings beans. My plate … everything on it was nasty. The rib tips taste like vinegar, the collard were not done, and the broccoli casserole had no flavor. . I could never go back especially with those high prices
My wife wanted the chitterlings. She wasn't ready to put in the work for making her own.The price for their large was steep, but you also have to weigh in the extensive time involved for preparation and cooking of this dish.They were great according to my wife, and she's been doing this dish for many years. Not everyone can achieve the outcome.The servers were great, no complaints there.Good people make the difference.Vegetarian options: They have the variety of southern style vegetables available.
I took my two kids out for lunch, and we ordered the meal that includes one meat and two sides, along with drinks. Unfortunately, the portions of meat were quite small, and the vegetables we received were disappointing. We ended up spending about $57, which feels excessive given that we got almost $20 per plate. I make sure when I come home to Atlanta I visit This is it. The food is hot and ready to go. They don't skimp on the portions either, they pile it on, so I am able to share. Which is good because my favorite is the oxtails. Baby let me tell you that's the good option there. They have so many to choose from. They even have a menu of things that are cooked while you wait, like fish and chicken wings. You want soul food, this is it!! Lol
If you're looking for excellent southern barbecue, make sure to check out any of their locations! The food is consistently fantastic, and all the sides are made from scratch and fresh. The sauce is among the best you'll find anywhere. As a Texan, I have a keen appreciation for great barbecue, and these folks have created a wonderful franchise. I just wish they had a location in Lilburn, Georgia!
New to neighborhood. Try this place and pleasantly surprised. Food was so good no conversation, just satisfaction. I ordered at counter for take out. The fare under glass was so enticing, I selected pork chop in gravy. Succulently covered with and onion and sandy color gravy. The atmosphere is unique with impressive chandeliers.Food: 5/5
I got to be honest I got the brisket and it was just okay. It was a little pricey but just okay. I didn't feel like cooking so it came in handy but I wasn't blown away by the food which was kind of disappointing because they charged like 25 for a plate of food but I feel like it could of been better but you decide for yourself.Food: 3/5 Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
My husband order 2 plates of rib tips dinners and the plates were full of grease so I bought the plates back and the Manger show me a sign that said no refunds so I ordered Bake chicken and the food still wasn't satisfying my taste buds They just don't have good cooks that really knows how to cook never ever again going back!!!
