During my first experience at Thompson Brewing, I was impressed by much of what I saw. Although not perfect, there is great potential at this establishment. The place is spacious with a wide selection of both food and beer. Although I only tried the beer, which included a Scotch ale, Irish red, and nut brown, I found them to be well crafted but slightly sweeter than my usual preference. I hope to explore their beer selection further in the future. The service was prompt and friendly, and I plan on returning. This place is popular but after eating here I must say I can't really understand why. We waited a long time in line to order our food, once ordered it took a very long time to receive our food. I know the beer and drinks help get patrons in but you can get drinks almost anywhere else, so it doesn't seem to make sense why this place is so popular. We received our food and it was okay, not great, nothing wrong with it, just not worth the wait. The seating area is upstairs and it's kind of limited, so it gets 3 stars, in my opinion.
I absolutely love this restaurant! It's perfect for kids and the food is absolutely delicious. My 2 and 4 year olds were entertained the whole time with the train table and doll house. My husband and I tried the brisket nachos, hot mess chicken sandwich, and burger, and they all exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be coming back here often. Thank you Thompsons for creating a place that is enjoyable for both kids and adults alike.
I like most if not every drink they offer. They have many board games outside in the back and a big selection of marvel comic books and others upstairs. The burgers and chicken sandwiches are definitely not basic. It does get packed but there are two lines one for food other for drinks the food does come out pretty fast either way. Food ,drinks , customer service was great definitely 5 star but only complain is it was a little small and crammed in certain areas would love for you guys to expand then would be a 5 star for me!
I don't give reviews but bar food is really good actually really GOOD! No complaints everything was wonderful and staff amazing. Will definitely be back again for the third time. Loved everything
We’ve loved this place a long time. Great beer and great food. Owned by the best family, the atmosphere is like no other brewery. This is a MUST for anyone who loves good people, food and drinks!
