We went for Sunday lunch with two other couples to celebrate our Golden Wedding anniversaries. The food was excellent, with a wide menu and served quickly. Our waitress, Emily, was attentive, efficient, and friendly, taking the time to take some photos of our group despite being very busy. Thank you, Emily, for making our celebration special. The price per person was £40-50, with a rating of 5 for food, service, and atmosphere. Recommended dishes include Pan Fried Sea, Sunday Roast, Risotto, and Sticky Toffee Pudding.
That’s more like it. After an evening at The Crown in St Margaret’s this Monday it was good to get back to the Three Horseshoes. There’s a reason this pub is always full and the Crown is now struggling. The reason is that the people who used to own the Crown sold it to Youngs Brewery and Youngs have subsequently ruined it. I’m so lucky that the Horseshoes was not sold also. Service was good, we all had the beef bourguignon and it was wonderful. Thank you just stay open and don’t sell up, please.
Stumbled upon an unexpected hidden gem during my recent exploration! The food here was truly fantastic, with each dish showcasing a delightful symphony of flavors that left me pleasantly surprised. What added to the charm of the evening was the incredibly friendly staff, whose warmth and hospitality enhanced the overall dining experience. I thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful evening and without a doubt will be returning in the future.
