So let me start by saying that the food was excellent here. I visited on 9/29/23 about 1030am. The yolk was broken when my food came but that didn 't change the taste. What made me uncomfortable was my dark haired waitress. So here 's my story. I was looking for a new place to try and found this on Google. I was seated by a pleasant woman. Our group of 8, splitting the bill into 4 separate checks, had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. Despite 4 of us having been there previously, each person ordered a Filet NY strip steak, all of which were undercooked and served cold. The butter on top remained solid on all the steaks due to their temperature. When we brought this to the attention of our server, the manager was notified but never followed up. Half of our group was overcharged, and no action was taken to address the issue of the cold meals. I have to admit, I was truly impressed with the quality of the food at this restaurant. My husband and I had never dined here before, but we were not disappointed in the slightest. From the salad to the main course, everything was exceptional. The cooks last night, whoever they were, deserve a round of applause. We will definitely be returning. We were a very hungry party of 4 The elderly waitress was slow and rude. Salads were good but difficult to eat, they overflowed the small bowls. all food arrived luke warm. fish wasnt eaten, pot pie was eaten but would not order again. chicken fried steak was visually unappetizing an heavily breaded the mashed potatoes were thick and pasty. In my opinion, this restaurant at the casino is one of the best. The chili is outstanding with just the right amount of spice. I've also tried the spaghetti and French dip, both of which were delicious. The dining room is spacious with a bar, and there are plenty of TVs to watch sports. The staff is friendly and helpful. Overall, I would give the service, food quality, and atmosphere a rating of 5 out of 5.
This restaurant is attached to a casino, and you have to walk through a smoking area to get to a non-smoking restaurant. It would be really great if they had a separate door that you could go through so you weren't exposed to the smoking area.
