We arrived a bit late but phoned ahead. We were told they stopped serving food at 8.30 and they asked the chef if he could squeeze us in- we were told he could but we had to choose our food quickly, what a wonderful way to be welcomed! When we ordered we were told they only had limited amounts of food- ‘you have ordered the falafel- you’re supposed to get 8 but we only have 5 left’ (and then 4 arrived . I ordered the vegan curry (as someone who has not eaten meat in 30 years . What was served was a chicken curry. We discovered this hidden treasure in the charming village of Biddendenham near Bedford. The Remoulade starter of crab and haddock in filo pastry with marinated carrot, prawns and avocado puree was one of the most delicious starters we have ever had. I ordered the Barnsley chop for my main course and my wife had the fillet of Sea Bream with new potatoes and steamed vegetables. For dessert, I enjoyed the lemon posset with meringue, strawberries and caramel biscuit, which was fantastic. The restaurant also has a spacious outdoor dining area for enjoying meals during the day or on a summer evening. We highly recommend this place.
Met friends at the Three Tuns for Wednesday Steak Night. Superb food perfectly cooked....we are not really big fans of red meat however the steaks were delicious. This is second time we have visited the Three Tuns for steak night. Both times were excellent. We have also had Sunday Lunch there a couple of weeks ago also very good, as was Friday Night Fish Chips. We look forward to tying the new Thursday Night Burger Pint NIght! A lovely pub in a lovely village.
The Three Tuns changed ownership last year and it’s really gone from strength to strength ever since. The decor looks lovely, the staff are always really friendly and the food is amazing! We love their Sunday roasts (best in Bedford! and their lunch menu during the week is really reasonable too. The venue is dog friendly in the bar area, where you can order food and it has a lovely garden to be enjoyed during the summer months too. A must visit!

My wife, son, and I visited the restaurant on a calm Friday afternoon. We enjoyed a special starter of salmon and hake fish cake. My wife ordered the chicken schnitzel, and I chose the cajun chicken burger. We were very pleased with the delicious food and exceptional service. We will definitely return in the future.
Went out with my boyfriend for his birthday dinner! We had the sausage night menu and it was amazing! The atmosphere was brilliantly friendly and relaxed and a special mention must go to the chefs! Highly recommend the food and a return visit is definitely on the cards! Thank you all at the tuns!
Fabulous pub where the welcome was first class. The menu was varied and the food was amazing. The service was incredible as we were a large party. All the foot was delivered hot and together. The staff were polite efficient and helpful. I will definitely recommend the 3 Tuns.
Wednesday Steak night, we all had fantastic fillet steaks cooks just as we liked them. 2 with garlic butter and mine with peppercorn sauce, must admit that last visit i has stilton sauce which was amazing, hopefully it will return

Food was lovely, however let down with very slow service . Long time between clearing our table and asking if wanted deserts. Had to ask twice for bill despite waitresses not serving just chatting at the tills .
We went on steak night and enjoyed delicious dishes with great service. The meal was fantastic and we will definitely be back.
