The place was very popular on a Saturday night. We went in for a small meal and some cocktails. Managed to get one of the tables with stools. The food was decent, I tried the sliders and the calamari, which were both tasty. The cocktails were good too with quite a few to choose from. The bar staff super friendly. Loved having live music, just wish the volume was slightly lower just so we could hear each other speak but I realise at a cocktail bar on a sat night that may be a strange request. The decor was funky. Overall really liked it and would certainly recommend to those in Cairns.
Hidden down the lane near the old Cairns Post Building, this place has tapped into drawing out the local talent. Thursday night is "Open Mic Night". Loud enough to create a great mood, but not overbearing so you can still catch up with the conversations around you. Tapas and finger food to compliment a fantastic whiskey and beer selection, plus everyone's usuals. Even the house wine was nice. Staff were to be commended for their friendly service. This place I think, has upped the ante for the local bar scene!
Straight out of a 'how to style a trendy bar' handbook. It is very Melbourne in look and atmosphere - good service, good cocktails, good music and nice selection of whiskeys. It is a bit pricey in comparison to other bars but this isn't necessarily a bad thing. Less of your 4am Woolshed / Gilligan's group will be in three wolves so it has a much more relaxed atmosphere. Worth making it a regular drop in spot.
It was our first time at this quirky little establishment and it was lovely. Three Wolves styles itself as a Gin Bar and indeed there were many and varied varieties available, however there was so much more on offer. Great service, knowledgeable staff, great variety and a very nice ambience. I will be back

I wasn't expecting to find a place like this in Cairns! Feels like such a cool laneway bar.The whiskey selection is great but you have to try their cocktails - we worked our way through the list. Totally worth the hangover!
Nice venue for drinks, has the depression/post prohibition era vibe and history. Can get very noisy and crowded. Great line up of spirits, many of them aren't listed online or in their menu
Friendly staff, great cold beer. Its poked down a lane, so hard to find, but definitely not your average Cairns pub. Great place to share some pale ales with mates and have a good yarn.
What a great place! Atmosphere was awesome and cocktails were delicious! Bar tenders were very polite and engaging. Hubby was very impressed with the smoke on the water.

Good place to find a nice beer on a hot day. Their whiskey selection is also ace. A lot better ambiance than the pubs on the main strip.
Not just a place for relaxing, but nice drinks. The owners are very nice and they are bartenders themshelves.
