I have been fortunate enough to visit this fine establishment a handful of times since 2018. It sits in a timeless little square area adjacent to a beautiful old church and bank. The staff are super friendly and quick to answer any menu questions you may have. The food is out of this world. I have only had their breakfast. The skillet is top notch and the porkchop and eggs are to die for. Homemade biscuits and jellies are made in house every day and they are magical. The blackberry jam is the bees knees. Stop in of you want great food in East Pointe. Be prepared to wait 30 minutes to an hour at peak times. Trust me though you will not regret it.
Party of four. Reasonable and short wait. I’d come here just for the music. Their playlist needs to be available to we the public. Our party ordered the pancake breakfast, catfish sandwich, turkey sandwich and a bacon and eggs breakfast. The breakfast potatoes were incredible, they’re saying, but they didn’t share them with me. Texas Pete hot sauce on the table, and the tarter sauce was pre-packaged. The music is on the louder side, but great. The grits were buttery great! Cute brick storefront. QR or paper menu is available.
Lacey was our server she was FANTASTIC! Top notch service. Super friendly personable. The food prior reviews speak for themselves, but I’ll second all of the other 5 star food reviews. I’m pretty particular about my brunch as well. Bacon was crispy quality, eggs done to perfection, banana nut French toast possibly best French toast I’ve ever had.
Once seated we had to wait 20 25 minutes the service was outstanding. There is a legitimate reason for the delay, the food was delectable. The fried catfish had you craving for more. The chicken tenders were breaded and seasoned to perfection. Will definitely be returning, but a little earlier to beat the crowd. BTW it's CASH ONLY

The food was ok nothing really stood out. We were seated at a table where there were food crumbs left behind on the booth seats, and requested that someone wipe them down. Overall experience was average, I might try to visit another location to see if the service, food, and environment is better.
Unbelievable breakfast and waiting. I had the Low Country Heap with the potatoes. So garlicky good! Biscuits were a bit disappointed. Too hard.
The food was delicious! And the service nice and quick. My water glass never had the chance to be empty. I wish they weren't cash only!
This place got straight to the point of good food. The skillet, coffee, grits, and French toast were all on point!
