was here yesterday (18/12/22), what an amazing place, we came here deliberately for the grotto and we didnt have high hopes, but they really did make it a great experience. i wont spoil it, but i would highly recommend this place to take your kids for the grotto. amazing staff at the grotto. as for the garden centre itself, it is pretty big. plenty of garden stuff (that's the best way i can only describe it), if youre a keen gardener or even if you're not it seems to be a great place to visit, there's a cafe which we didnt try but look decent and as it's christmas there was plenty of decorations and choices available. you wont be disappointed. great job to all the staff.
I came here towards the end of April and again a week later for my birthday. What a gardeners delight! I couldn’t believe I hadn’t been here before and yet I only live a few miles away. It’s absolutely wonderful, loads and loads of plants to choose from and anything you want/need for your garden. Pots, decorations and much much more! There is also a lovely restaurant on site, with a lovely menu. I had 2 different meals each day and both where lovely Every member of staff was helpful and friendly. This is a new place for me my mum and sister to come too and will no doubt be regulars.
This is not my 1st visit, but it was my first time shopping in the actual garden centre (they do a great Christmas grotto) and honestly I thought it was great. All the plants looked well looked after and sectioning of ever greens, bedding, perinials etc made it super easy to find what I wanted. I was after a white lavender and wasn't disappointed with the great selection of colours and sizes available. I also found my rooting powder easily and found the staff to be very helpful.
We visited twice to this wonderful family friendly Garden Centre. For family with Kids, you can treat it as family activity just like visiting park. It has nice Cafe/Restaurant and the cost is quite affordable. The staffs are quite knowledgeable and they tried their best to answer/help you. Very nice and pleasant Garden centre.
This is a big garden centre, you can purchase anything from garden furniture to plants, stuff for pets, children's books and gifts. Has a large cafe where the food is lovely. All on one floor, great for wheelchair users. Plenty of parking spaces. There is even a place to buy a summer house. Would highly recommend
Knowledgeable, helpful staff make visiting the garden centre an enjoyable experience. Staff like Ellis helped me to start to understand my design options in a simple but effective way. He took the time to help a complete beginner gardener realise what could be achieved. I'd recommend the garden centre to anyone.
I have been going to this garden centre for over 30 years. I have been going with my mum sisters and children from when it was a small family run business. Its still a lovely garden centre to go too and the restaurant it fresh and clean and food is lovely. Spend many a happy hour or so over there.
We went here to take the kids to see Santa. As we are quite possibly the most unorganised parents in the world it was great that no booking was required as this was the only place in the entire world that was available. Despite having to wait for quite a while the family had a lovely time.
We have frequently visited the garden centre, shopping and eating. The staff are lovely everywhere. We have just had some turfs and top soil delivered. The landscape team were very helpful,as was the delivery driver. Highly recommend a visit. Thanks to you all.
