Absolutely disaster! Got there table was ready, then asked for menu's to be told no we couldn't have food, although they was advertising food, As we booked with open table not the club itself. After complaining, they allowed us to have food, which was very nice, we all enjoyed. My friend went to the bar for conqtour they had put triple sec in the bottle so it's wasn't the real liquor. Which when complained they gave her a refund. We'd just ate our food, we was asked to leave the table as it was booked out for another party. Appalling!!!!! Had rubbish table even though we had booked. Chased them for a menu then finally ordered requesting garlic bread with our mains...received black garlic bread but no mains! Waited another 40 mins before asking where our mains were only to be told it wasn't going to be possible. While all this was going on, countless meals were being served to the back room. Thanks tiger tiger I guess we weren't important enough
Sadly the booking was not honoured as they left a message to say that they could accommodate us after all! I phoned several times to try and sort this out but no one got back to me to confirm. As they cancelled late we were unable to find another restaurant who could accommodate us so we had to cancel our plans.
This restaurant is fantastic! The staff were very welcoming and friendly, the drinks were excellent, and the atmosphere was amazing. And let's not forget about the delicious food!

I visited Tiger Tiger last night to celebrate a friend's birthday. I was disappointed to find out that bottles of spirits are no longer included in the happy hour specials.
I think varsity is one of the better bars in the grey friars road scene, offering reasonable drinks and a party atmosphere that isn't overly loud.

We were turned away on arrival as they were fully booked! Not happy when we’d walked a long way to get there.
I think I quite like Varsity's sometimes, I think this is mainly in the daytime though.
