This used to be my go to for lunch 2-4 times a month for a few years. but after today, I won't be going back. It's kind of gone downhill the last few years and I hadn't been there in a while so I'd thought I'd give them another chance. Bad decision. Theatom bombs cream cheese or cheese, not sure which, but one of them had a very sour taste, like rotten tasting. I took a bite ofa few different ones to see if it was me, with and without the sauce, and it still tasted sour..... I threw the rest out. Hopingnot to get food poisoning. The guacamole has never been amazing, but it lacked any flavor and the tomatoes looked like they hadbeen a round for some time. Maybe just bad avocados... idk... but...
The restaurant boasts a fantastic atmosphere, beautifully adorned with stunning artwork. While the food leans towards the bland side, their impressive hot sauce bar more than compensates for it. The chips tend to be a bit saltier than I prefer, but they are undeniably fresh and crispy. I would give it 4 stars, mainly because they lack a meat substitute or tofu option. It would also be great to see a ghost pepper sauce added to their hot sauce selection. I was surprised to discover that almost all their hot sauces are based on jalapeños, with the exception of two. My personal favorite is the Mofo 'En Insane, their hottest sauce, which includes Carolina reapers in just a small amount.
I have tried the curbside delivery at this restaurant several times, and unfortunately, each time they’ve failed to bring the food out to me. They don't let you know that you have to go inside to pick up your order, which leads to cold and soggy meals. The quality of the food is inconsistent; while the chimichanga was tasty, the nachos were soggy and unappealing. Overall, I was not impressed with this experience and won't be using their curbside service again, as it seems they don't actually provide it despite the option being listed online. I'm disappointed that this has happened repeatedly rather than just once.
Caution! If I could rate this place lower than 1 star, I would. I ordered a chicken burrito to go, and when I got home, I found blackened, charred bits of what used to be chicken. It was so overcooked that I couldn’t even recognize it. Unbelievable! I hadn’t been to Tijuana Flats in years, and now I remember why. I will never come back and will warn my friends and neighbors to steer clear of this terrible dining experience.

I ordered curbside pick up and waited over 15 minutes and no one brought my food to my car. I had to go inside and get it myself. The waitress didn't even attempt to bring it to my car. She just put it on the shelf; I watched her do the same with another person's order as well.
The employees at this restaurant are exceptionally friendly and inviting. The tacos on Taco Tuesday were fantastic, and I particularly loved the variety of sauces offered.
Always good every time, never disappoints. I normally get beef nachos. Good size, good flavor for the price point.
Friendly service. Nice patio. Good was good guac, chimis, and wings. Prices were reasonable.
