I’ve ordered from this place a number of times hoping that the service gets better but I am disappointed again and again. Made an order using their app, money taken and the order placed, waited an hour for it to nothing at the door, called them and they said to me that the order didn’t come through on their end and that they don’t own the app, argued that it was my fault and then gave me a number of a guy who sounds rather similar to the surroundings in the shop from the previous phone call, he told me that he would contact the take out and tell them that the order did go through and to make it, he also told me that they actually didn’t accept it and still took the money off me. Shocking customer service. Ordered 25 pounds worth of food. Driver by own admission couldn't find my address. I am 1,4 miles from tikka town,. Received nothing. Rang to say would pay for redelivery cost only to be told not an option. Don't waste neither time nor money on this waste for space. Only reason they got 1 is because there isn't a lesser option. Reported to trading standards for non delivery. To the owner with attitude expect a visit soon. Potential customers plenty of other local options don't take a chance.
Went in to order..stood like a spare one for about 5 minutes while the two staff perpared orders. Got a kebab and chips and got it after about 10 minutes. Got home opened it and wasn't impressed with the look of it. I pluked up the courage to try a chip and immediately spat it out as it was rancid, the oil must have been last changed in 2022 by the taste of it. I was hungry so was hoping the kebab could save the day but I was wrong..how is it possible to make kebab meat taste so bad? £12 straight in the bin!
Let's make one thing certain, Tikka Town is a carry out, not a restaurant. It's a great wee carry out; Indian food, pizza, kebab, burgers, you'll surely find something you like. They open late so you'll not be disappointed. I love the donner kebab on pitta and the pepperoni pizza is delicious. I've never tried the Indian grub but those I know who have, rate it highly. Ok lads, the stars aligned as i pulled into B town, after a lap TIKA TOWN was our choice. Fantastic flavour, needed double the chips and slightly less sauce but horses for courses. Food: 4 Service: 4
