I had not eaten until recently at tilley’s, but have been coffee several times. tilley was opened in 1984 in canberra, so they did an amazing job to still work. the coffee is always good and eating was also great. the interieur is dark with old fashion cabins. they often have live music at the venue. there is also a large outdoor area in which a large group of friends and I sat on a Sunday after the Canberra fun ride. we had brunch and everyone enjoyed it! the ricotta pancakes were delicious and it is a good place to go if they have a large group of people for weeks of breakfast and brunch. I would also like to try some of their other dishes so that I will return soon.
what a cool little jazz place! with some cute small stands built for two and many seats both inside and outside! the feeling at this place is simply cool, a piano is set against a mirrored wall, velvet carpet lines the floor. Eating and service are great, would definitely come with a special someone!

eating was really good. I had the whistle with chili and maize. the restaurant was busy and the service was somewhat slow, but that is expected. it was a little expensive, but it was worth eating. overall I had a good time, will be back.
