Tin Marin is like Dominican Spanish tapas fusion, which I am not mad about at all (yummy! . Of course, if you 're a purist and are expecting traditional Spanish or Dominican food, don 't; that 's the point.Anyway, the food is pretty tasty, the croquetas de pescado were fabulous (and I don 't eat fish , and I am sure everything else is good but my problem is that I did not receive my dish. We waited and waited, and when we asked about the missing items the person helping us told us everything comes out gradually, be patient but we 've been waiting 45 mins to 1HR by that point, and all the food had come out. The food, drinks, and overall experience at this restaurant are delightful and enjoyable. I began visiting six years ago while I was in college and ended up singing a Barbie song—let's just say it was quite the experience! What truly stands out, though, is the excellent service. Ever since my memorable debut performance at Tim Marin's karaoke night, I've been hooked and keep coming back for more. I'm still trying to uncover the secret recipe for their papas bravas, but I highly recommend everyone check this place out!
As we were walking out, the busboy came running with two cups of water, but I declined, saying we were leaving. He audaciously replied, "Oh, you’ve only been here for 5 minutes." I couldn't believe his attitude. All we wanted was some service and a meal, but we were met with the worst experience as first-time customers. I definitely do not recommend this place!
Delicious food and adult atmosphere. Fits nicely into the neighborhood. Service was attentive and staff courteous. Food comes out quickly and served by the entire team. Amazing how busy they were and how quick the food was being served. Definitely worth visiting if in the area. The empanadas were my least favorite. Meatballs were extremely flavorful and moist. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere inside was fantastic. Unfortunately, I ended up sitting all the way in the back outside. I had asked to move inside as soon as a spot became available so I could enjoy the ambiance and the live band, but that request never materialized. Despite that, I still had a good time, and the staff was very friendly.
Fabulous meal! Albondigas are my husbands favourite and he thought these were some of the best ever. Paellas were as good as one from Valencia in fact best Spanish food outside of Spain. Will definitely return here again especially as the staff were also so helpful. Wine was also excellent!
Food was great and completely new to me. The Sangria was fantastic, we had a half pitcher of mango, followed by the passion fruit and they were both very good. I’ll definitely be back if my find myself in the area again
