Tin Mill Restaurant

We have been here before with family. This is the first time as a couple. The owner greeted us at the door. Don is very friendly and welcoming. They have a simple menu and some great features. The food is all prepared there. For a spot in the country there are some great flavors that you would expect from a much more expensive restaurant. The desserts were awesome. My wife had the carrot cake and I had the chocolate truffle cake. Both are homemade and worth saving room for. If you are near here or feel like a drive it is well worth it. I would recommend a reservation so you are not disappointed.

In all the years of visiting the Tin Mill I have never been disappointed in any meal. We have brought friends from various countries here and everyone has raved about it. The atmosphere is enchanting and the history of the actual old building fascinating. Don and his staff, are attentive, friendly and make one feel very special. No meal would be complete without the world famous carrot cake! We have used the catering service also and again, always superb. My favourite restaurant anywhere!

We took the half hour drive from Newmarket to Uxbridge to try this restaurant for lunch. Hubby had chicken and brie sandwich and I had small caesar salad and chicken. (Small was a nice serving size for lunch) both were very good. Hubby had local craft beer which he enjoyed. The best part of our lunch was dessert. The best cake we have ever eaten. Carrot/pineapple with cream cheese frosting. Big serving that we shared. Staff are friendly and service prompt. We will go back for sure.

Four of us had dinner here on Saturday night and sat on the patio. We didn't have a reservation, but had no problem getting a table. The food was delicious. We had the ribs, chicken, veal parmegian , rack of lamb. Everyone enjoyed the choices. The staff were excellent and very accommodating. We didn't have time for dessert since we had a show to attend at 7:30 PM. We would definitely come back to this restaurant next time we are in Uxbridge. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

I put a review on here for Tin Mill a couple years back and have not been back since. We were semi regular customers for years before then. We had a couple so so meals there and basically gave Tin Mill a break. I am happy to say that on Saturday night it was packed and but the service and food were amazing. Desert was also good. We will go back. They have an awesome elevated deck to eat on if the bugs aren't bad on the night you go.

The staff had a table set for the ten of us. The waitress was well mannered, gave us time to greet each other before taking our drinks order. We were never rushed throughout of entire meal. When the dishes were cleared most had coffee with one tea order and two of us had dessert. We sat in the restaurant for an additional half hour after paying our bill. All staff were polite and gracious.

Took my husband here for his birthday and we were very disappointed. I had asked for a medium rare steak and it came well done. Brought this to our waiters attention and he scoffed at us took the meat back & i'm positive i got the same one again. Very disappointed.

We had a family lunch for my mother's 85th birthday. The staff were lovely, they made her feel very special! As usual the food was excellent, the servers were attentive, we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Thank you Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Dinner was very good . We took family from out of country. I consider this a special place in town to dine in .
