*I was lucky enough to try Tipsy scoop during a free event and this review is based off of that experience* For this event we were able to try unlimited samples and then order one item from the menu to enjoy there or take to go. I tried 6! of the flavors: cake batter vodka martini, vanilla bean bourbon, chocolate whiskey salted caramel, tequila Mexican hot chocolate, raspberry lemoncello sorbet, and mango margarita sorbet. Every single flavor was amazing. They are silky smooth and you can't taste the alcohol. I think the Mexican hot chocolate was my favorite. For my special treat I ordered the whiskey dream: dark chocolate whiskey salted caramel ice cream with chocolate fudge, caramel sauce,...
I went there during happy hour [price was super good]and I was 20 minutes early and I had to sit there and wait The music was really good! It's a cute and quaint space. Optimal experience for intimate gatherings or maybe a date but not a place where can get work done on a laptop.Ice cream was good ! I had the mango and vanilla . I usually don't like mixing ice cream and sorbet but it was a nice Creamsicle vibe<3 Ingredients were high in quality!
Everything about this place is great! The atmosphere, the service, especially the ice cream. The flavor of the month was cotton candy vodka and if I had a way to store it I would definitely take it back home to me in Maryland. You don't taste the alcohol at all in the ice cream and the flavors are fantastic and can compete against even your favorite local creamery back home.
It was a cute place the shop is really clean and organized . The lady at the cashier seemed a bit bored and not really giving a friendly but who would on a Friday afternoon at work . One of the best stops when you're in NYC. They have the option for thise who cannot decide. Personally, I believe it's the best option. When you visit, choose the Flight of Four. They have incredible staff who give you ample time to look at all the options and make your choice without haste. Worth the money!
The ice cream is okay. I liked the bourbon vanilla. I barely tasted the alcohol. It tasted like regular ice cream. It's missing most of the alcohol buz. When I make my own ice cream, it has the satisfying alcohol buz.
The scene, staff and ambience was delightful! The ice cream was the ultimate desire in what we were seeking! Definitely coming by more often!
