This review is from our trip to Portugal in June 2023 where we accidentally stumbled upon this cute family owned restaurant. Honestly this was the best food we ate in Portugal and even most of Europe, we still think about it to this day. The owners are so friendly, and take extra special care with the presentation and atmosphere of their restaurant. You MUST come here if you’re in Sintra, it will not disappoint. I believe food is a powerful way to express and share culture and we definitely felt that at Tira Tapas! The Baba Camelo dessert is amazing !!
My favourite restaurant in Sintra. Everything on the menu is excellent, so much that most of the time I don't know what to choose since I want to eat everything. It's small but very cozy, you feel like you are having dinner at a friend's house, and you're treated that way, like you are a friend not just another customer. Everything I visited Sintra I make sure to go there and recommend others to do the same.
It all started with a “let’s have a coffee” turned out, we ended up at one of the greatest places to have some delicious snacks, in beautiful and exotic Sintra, delicious food. Amazing I’d say. The food comes real fast after its order, the staff are amazing and friendly! The decoration of the interior, it’s so cozy that feels like home! It worth every single cent . I’m definitely going back .
Amazing spot for a fantastic meal. This is local and family run and the love shows in the food, wine and service. It is very small around 7 tables so make a reservation, they are very responsive via whatsapp. You will not be disappointed. It is in a nice quiet area, not far from the city centre, but away from the craziness that can come with Sintra in the summer. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Excelente comida e atendimento. Preço justo e porção dentro do esperado em quantidade. O senhor que nos atendeu tem interesse genuíno nos clientes que ali aparecem. Comida típica portuguesa. Voltaremos e indicaremos sempre.
Atendimento espectacular, comida divinal e ambiente muito acolhedor. Críticas??? Fica muito longe da minha casa. Mas fica a promessa, eu vou voltar....
