Dined 10/22/22 SA 9:00pm : Literally... a taqueria in the parking lot of a tire shop! After an entertaining evening with friends at nearby event venue Casa Vertigo and its hosting of the House Of Spirits A Haunted Cocktail Soirée experience, it was time for some grubbing after downing several cocktails within a two hour span. Thanks to Yelp Black Elite Ran C., he recommended Tire Shop Taqueria, a place I 've been to years ago during a taco truck crawl. I could eat tacos every day, and sometimes it felt like I did whenever I was home with nothing to eat except random ingredients and a stack of corn tortillas I always had in stock. Phenomenal street tacos in the heart of LA. The carne asada is by far the best thing they serve here, tender and smokey. Their pastor and chorizo are great too. Plus they make all of their tortillas by hand, and grill the meats in front of you as you wait in line. Free entertainment!Get here earlier than 5PM, as there was already a queue out onto the street by that time. Cash only, and they take orders in Spanish and English. Absolutely worth spending 20 mins finding somewhere to park for.
The tacos were delicious and packed with flavor, but they were quite pricey. Given that this place has minimal overhead, one would expect the prices to be lower. I mean, we were literally dining in the parking lot next to the trash cans. They have plenty of staff to manage the long line, yet not a single person was available to clean the tables or pick up any trash.
This review is for the food cart located on Cahuenga Blvd near Hollywood Blvd. They serve freshly made tortillas and tacos, and both the beef and chicken are incredibly delicious with a wonderful smoky flavor. Funding a good taco stand here in LA, it's not an easy task, came here by a referral, and finding parking is not that easy. They make the tortillas by hand on the spot. I tried several of their meats and I only liked their Cabeza and Chorizo. The Asada was ok. Al Pastor was not well seasoned and tasted more like Carnitas. Their fountain drinks taste fresh.
Came here on 4/20 after a weed event because nothings better than tacos after getting stoned.This place is not as advertised, it’s actually behind a car wash not a tire shop.Name inaccuracies notwithstanding, this place is a gem. The chorizo is especially tasty, and the mulitas are grande sized and worth a try if you’ve never had them before.
It's just good. Super fresh corn tortillas. Meat has a wonderful texture to it cooked on the grill. Carne Asada is the stand out though the chorizo ain't bad. Unlike a lot of places, they do the dressing of your taco (nice light spice to the rojo. Also the Mulita is massive.Lives up to its rep.

Tacos burritos tortas quesadillas vampirosThey have it all. Food is good only bad thing is they only have 2 tables. Parking is a lil hard to find. I still recommend this place to all my friends
