We were staying in Ischgl, but tried to find a more authentic place (most of the places in Ischgl are too touristic/ too expensive..). We found this place through TripAdvisor of course. Only 10 minutes car drive from Ischgl. The place is not very big and the atmosphere is nice and cozy. Staff was very friendly and answered all our questions despite the language challenges. Needless to say the food is excellent and very value for money. We had such a great time that we returned for a second visit!
Saw the reviews on Trip Advisor and wanted to give it a try. They were very busy, but were able to seat us after only a 5 minute wait. Service was good, food was excellent, and I highly recommend it! Dumplings were delicious, usually they are too heavy for my taste. I got a side of red cabbage to try, and was not disappointed. It was mild, but very flavorful. Try a torte for dessert!
A gem of a little Stube. Lots of character and the cakes were simply the best ever sampled in either Austria or Swizerland. The Jagertorte was to die for with a light nutty sponge, a chocolate layer, a preiselbeer layer (v. tangy) and a chocolate coating (ueberzug - I just love this word!).Lovely friendly hosts and happy to indulge my not so good German.

Ein Schritt zurück zur traditionellen Küche. Keine Reservierung, nur Barzahlung, leckeres lokales Essen, gemütliche Atmosphäre, toller Service. Was kann man nicht mögen? Was für ein schöner Kontrast zum hohen Berg Ischgls.
In der Tiroler Stube bekommen Sie für wenig Geld leckere und feine Spezialitäten aus dem Tirol. Das Restaurant ist urchig und im Tiroler Style gehalten. Sauber und gemütlich.
Ich habe es ausprobiert, als ich in Österreich war! Ich habe noch nie so etwas gegessen und war angenehm überrascht. Der Service war großartig. Sehr empfehlenswert.
