We wanted to try somewhere new in Cheltenham, and support a local pub, more than a chain. Sadly we were rather disappointed with our mains. I had the duck, which wasn’t prepared very well and I spent ages getting lots of small bone shards out of it. There wasn’t enough orange sauce with it either. My husband asked for steak, medium-rare, and it looked like it had barely been cooked. Also the food just wasn’t worth what we paid for it. Rather a shame, as they had great reviews, the place looked amazing and the staff (including the landlord) were all lovely.
Nice interior, restaurant seperate from the bar. We went for Sunday Lunch after reading good reviews. Food portion size was good, the choice was good, although a few items sold out The vegetable temperature was on the cool side, the gravy was very very...thick and the Cauliflower Cheese was unfortunately Cheese on Cauliflower (no roux sauce or nicely crisped top). I’d read good reviews before Christmas so was on our places to visit list but unfortunately we won’t rush back which is a shame.
Nice atmosphere and service. Gareth was a really great host and looked after us well! Good Food also, Kitchen Manager Tom also came and ensured everything was to our liking. Thanks!

Been a regular visitor to The Tivoli never fails. Great place for a drink and a chat or a nice, unrushed meal.
the staff are friendly and although it was a busy Saturday, the service was very good.
I loved the atmosphere at the Tivoli which feels more high-end than the average pub.
The Tivoli isn't hidden, but it isn't in the well-worn area of Cheltenham.
