Well, I have to say this is a great Toby, due to the excellent staff, the way they interact so well with each other! This was my first visit to this restaurant it was well worth the extra miles, as this isn’t my closest Toby. A warm welcome, great service, good food, excellent ambience lighting (sounds odd, but it means a lot) all made for an excellent experience one I would drive those extra miles to get to. Many congratulations to excellent team work to all members, seen unseen. I look forward to to many visits in the future would recommend this place to everyone.
I've always wanted to go to a Toby's mainly for the experience. Buffets are always kind of fun even if the food isn't the best. Didn't have huge expectations, especially considering price but it was actually generally very nice. Yorkshire's, roasts stuffing was all great. Dauphinois weren't soo good but didn't really matter. Staff were all great, restaurant seemed clean, will definitely go back again.
Had a lunch here on my wife's birthday on a bank holiday. Booked on line, seated reasonably promptly. Food was plentiful, hot and flavoursome, considering I'm vegetarian. I usually detest roasts but this was more tha acceptable. Domonic our server was very polite and helpful. Happily recommend this.
if you're hungry, it's the place to go. the waitress was excellent, nothing was too much annoyed. we had only breakfast a few hours earlier, so I didn't want a full carvery. we chose a sandwich. Cranberry sauce and gravy on the side a huge yorkshire and three roasts. I'd go back tomorrow.
had simply a brilliant vegan meal at the ugly duckling. very helpful waiting staff that lasted, I knew what kind of vegan friendly was and organized me a few picks without glaze and flower cabbage without cheese. I couldn't break the mushroom tar. really pleasant and highly recommended.
we went last night to the birthday of our daughter. it's her favorite place to eat, so she was choice. we just got a table, there was no waiting for the carvery. the waiter was very friendly attentive. we go there quite often never had a problem. will be back soon.
Clean tidy, relatively quiet even with the kids. Unlimited breakfast would have been better with some haloumi, they made veggi sausages to order so had to wait otherwise would have been 5 stars.
very friendly service from our waiter, frank and the person that serves us our meat. was a beautiful evening to celebrate my birthday would definitely recommend
5 star service all round, super friendly staff and top tier menu. My family and I love coming here for 100% satisfaction. Expect us to visit again.
