My first visit here. Came up from Bournemouth to help move my son into a new place on Friday. I stayed here overnight and also had dinner in the carvery. I had booked a table for 7.30 but my son was help up at so changed to 8 then to 8.30. This was no problem at all for them. Overall a good experience. Check-in was slow but it's fine. You check-in via the restaurant side, after that you're granted 24 HR access to the hotel side via key FOB. If you have a vehicle, register it at check-in and you won't have to pay for parking. Keep in mind that if you're late for last check-in you may have no access to your room (which is clearly stated in the mail sent to you prior). Hotel room was clean, toilet was clean. Housekeeping was great. Remember to bring your own slippers because they don't give you a one time use. I have mixed feelings about this place due to their poor customer management. The customer service is subpar and it seems to stem from the management. The staff members are generally decent, but it appears that they lack proper training or direction. The atmosphere is lacking and the restaurant seems to be overwhelmed with dirty dishes. Communication with customers is lacking and the overall operation is flawed. While the food is okay, my roast pork was undercooked this time, which was disappointing. The Toby Carvery Eden Park is a large pub and restaurant with a hotel. Free car parking is available if you book in when you enter the restaurant. Lots of seating is available as it’s very popular and can be very busy. A large selection of all you can eat breakfast is available as well as a main menu offering dinner/lunch for £8.99 each. There is lots of choice on the main menu and very good portions of well presented food are offered. The staff are welcoming and friendly and this Toby Carvery is very clean.
Terrible experience we have been told by the manager after we had are food do you want any dessert we said no she straight way bought the bill and told us to live because she needed the table because she had a group coming I still had a full glass of beer left the beer on the table and I have paid the bill in the bar so i will never go back it spouse to be Christmas dinner and it had been ruined so stay way from this place
Came back from Holiday and stayed overnight. Was looking forward to a decent meal after being in Spain for a week and the Carvery was disappointing. You get to choose 2 kinds of meat so went for the beef and turkey, the beef was chewy (think the guy carving was carving it wrong way) and only 1 slice of turkey and overcooked veg. The yorkshire pudding was the best thing on the hotplate.
Probably one of the best Toby carvery’s I’ve visited for a while. I usually go to the south croydon branch as it’s closer to home but the service there is terrible and whilst visiting a friend in Eden park we decided to get a roast. Service is great and the food is hot and tasty
