This comes with a warning: do not make the mistake of options ing for the giant portion unless you either have a truly gigantic appetite or you intend to take most of it home in a doggie bag (I made that mistake and took home a rather large amount of meat for my dogs). Having said that: the food was well cooked and tasty. Sauces are available (about a dozen bowls of it (some are the same but at least six different types of sauce and gravy). Choice of meats on Friday 13th Oct 23: pork, ham, gammon, Turkey beef. Large choice of vegetables, too! You could have a slice of each of you so wished. Something that made the food even better was the offer: 50% off! I would even contemplate going there...
We were seated right away and our young, dark-haired female server was fantastic. She was very patient with our group, which included individuals with learning difficulties. She made sure everyone had a great dining experience. The restaurant had good wheelchair accessibility with a spacious table that easily accommodated our wheelchair. Overall, we enjoyed a pleasant lunch experience.
The staff are friendly, the food is excellent, and it's great value for money. We dined in for dinner and had a fantastic experience. The price per person is between £30–£40. The food and service both receive a perfect score of 5, while the atmosphere is rated a 4. We highly recommend trying the Roast Dinner and Roast Potatoes.
