Visited on Saturday dinner time 04.05.2024. I'm unsure what has changed, whether it's a new manager, chef or staff, but I did not expect such a great and professional service from start to finish. We were greeted warmly and taken to our seats. The staff were pleasant and not overbearing. Everything was stocked up and clean. We had the carvery and it was all DELICIOUS. The meat portions were good and Yorkshire pudding was perfect. I hope it stays that way.
Reception assumed we’d been before wasn’t aware there was only 1 option available (buffet). Wasn’t ideal as wanted smaller breakfast options such as pensioner breakfast (small plate) pastries or cereal. No coffee options available could only have filtered coffee which is tasteless. Had to challenge the price was originally told £36 for 3 breakfast 3 drinks when it was actually £30!
We had to wait a long time to be acknowledged but once the lady came she was lovely There was only a choice of 2 meats which was fine and lady was apologetic but we had booked online and didn’t know this until we arrived!
Great Toby Carvery. Have to mention how clean the counter was at such a busy time on a sunday lunch time. Well done, this cannot be easy to maintain. Very friendly staff. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
We enjoyed the standard size carvery. The roast and vegetables were well cooked and very tasty. The selection of vegetables was more than ample.
First time called in for breakfast, couldn’t fault anything! Fast service, good coffee, great fresh breakfast. Top marks!
