I booked a table for my family and as a family with neurodiversity as usual I requested a quiet corner or booth ... on arrival it was hot there was a note on the door saying the air con was off and there would be fans on in the resteraunt. I was informed there was no quiet space ...the resteraunt wasn't overly busy several booths were free but the hostess decided that she would seat us center table in the resteraunt ...the absolute worst place to put a child with neurodiversity ... in the center of the noise When I challenged this she told me that she was short staffed and the table we had reserved the previous reservation had ran over as they arrived late When I pointed out the booths she b...
To save cooking he other Sunday morning l decided to take my Grand Daughter 'out ' for breakfast. l took her to The Glass House in Lincoln. We got there as they opened and were promptly seated and shown the buffet breakfast. To be fair it wasn 't bad and the choice of food was fairly comprehensive as was the coffee and fruit juice. The bacon rashers were beginning to suffer under the heat lamps, what else can you expect. Tip....dig underneath the pile the bacon is happier! ln all,yes l 'd go back once in a while to treat myself, it 's £4.95 all you can eat
We visited the carvery on a Saturday lunchtime visiting Lincoln. The visit was very enjoyable, we were seated quickly and received genuine and prompt service from arrival through to paying the bill even though is was busy.The carvery was excellent and very well stocked with a very good variety of meat, veg and sauces. Two of us were vegetarians and opted for the meat-free carvery which was more than enough! The Yorkshire puddings were especially good. The food and drinks were very reasonable and we will return. I thoroughly recommend the place.
Just eaten there today Sunday 7pm. Did not book but got a table anyway. We were warned that only 2 meats out of 4 were left but we soldiered on.Staff seemed fine. Plenty of choice with nicely cooked vegs but my partner would have had to pay extra for a sausage which I thought a bit mean considering only half of the carvery meats were available. My only moan apart from this was that the plates were not very warm. Consequently by the time one is halfway thru ones plateful the remainder is cold. Average all round I would say.

I really wanted to praise your manager/assistant manager. I think her name was Charlotte. Unfortunately didn't get to eat as my mum had a fall in the restaurant. Charlotte was amazing and stayed with me and my mum till we got my mum ready to get in a car to go to hospital. Props to her though for guessing that my mum's ankle wasn't broken, that first aid training came in handy. Charlotte is an amazing person and you are lucky to have this staff member in your company. Long queue times to get food- staff was being shouted at while we got our food and then we found black plastic in our food. When we informed the manager they said it would be from the Yorkshire puddings (I’m gluten free and had no Yorkshire puddings) and didn’t seem that concerned
Went in for a family dinner in the evening, Ebony greated us at the door, she was nothing but polite and a credit to the team. Megs was our server, she was amazing, made sure we had everything we needed and that our food was up to standard. Amazing experience from start to finish.
Lovely roast, pork, turkey and gammon. Fresh vegetables not frozen, roast mash potatoes plus all the trimmings. Very good value for money.
