My partner and I had lunch here today at about 13.00. We had looked at several other places prior to selecting Toful which we did because of the location and the menu. As both mussels and sardines were on thge 11€ menu, we chose this.We both started with mussels, then my partner had the sardines, and I had the chicken. The mussels were hard and fairly dry , as if reheated or frozen, and had a strange taste. The sardines were also hard. The chicken leg was minimal. The saving grace was the crema catalana which was acceptable. I suppose that if one goes for an 11 euro menu , expectations should not be too high, but the quality of two classic local dishes here was way below standard. A pity bec...
Family with baby stopped for dinner on a busy Saturday night. Just got a table as, shortly after we sat down, they were turning people away. Ordered a range of tapas. All good and of a decent standard. No stand out dish either positive or negative. Can't ask for more in August in Spain on a busy Saturday night. Be happy to return.
We stumbled upon this restaurant on a family visit to Tarragona. What an amazing food and service experience! The order was taken rapidly, the drinks were served immediately as well as the rest of the dishes. Great seafood, lovely service. We will definitely come back.
The menu is 11 euros with one drink, dessert, bread, a first and a second dish. The man who attended us was super fast, super efficient and always with a smile. Food was very good and homemade. Good portions. The spot is super nice and relaxinf near to the cathedral.
