Highly recommend this restaurant to the tourists of Nice who like a bit of adventure.It's a 10 minute walk from the Cours Saleya, through the Promenade du Paillon, past historic buildings like the 200 year old Lycée Masséna and a bird shop that has been there for 100 years. Look for the red awning. Your reward for escaping the tourist center, is that you experience a neighborhood restaurant staffed by people who are welcoming, fun, gay friendly, and, best of all, purveyors of home cooked, delightful food and wine (full bar too). We used to come to 5 Rue Gioffredo when it was a different restaurant. While we liked that place a lot, we LOVE Toi & Moi even more! The food is so delicious and so thoughtfully prepared. As a vegetarian, I basically told them what sounded good on the menu and they custom made a dish that was out of this world! And, the menu changes completely every week. We can't wait to see what they cook up next!!I would suggest you try Toi & Moi ASAP as this new restaurant won't stay a secret for very long. We were on holiday in Nice and I’d planned to take my partner for a special meal to this restaurant.We booked through ‘The Fork’, which I understand is owned by TripAdvisor. I received the usual confirmation and, the day before our visit was due, an email to remind me.Imagine my disappointment when we arrived at the restaurant to find that it was CLOSED and there was a sign that (translated) said ‘On holiday, cheers!’.We were not pleased and I suggest that this event shows how little the restaurant owners care for their clientele.I would recommend that you eat somewhere else.

A great neighborhood spot and worth a (short) walk if you're in the old town. Fun locals spot and away from the tourist zone.Fresh menu changes often, always perfectly cooked. The spaghetti with seafood is my go to. Good vegetarian options. Delicious burger, dessert and cocktails. Affordable wine choices. Really kind owners who speak English and are always there.
