Tokui Sushi is a no frills quick serve shop with just a few seats inside. Don't let that turn you off though, because they serve really tasty sushi rolls and all for only $2. The best value you can get in Melbourne! Despite the low price, they definitely do not compromise on quality. The ingredients were really fresh, and the cooked sushi rolls were packing amazing flavor. Definitely must tries would be the salmon roll, unagi roll, and the spicy tuna roll. The staff were also really friendly and accommodating, and even helped us slice freshly made rolls when we dined in before they were about to close.
Hungry and it's between meals. Don't want to spend heaps of money. Have been using the credit card way too much the past few days. Visiting Melbourne for a few nights. Walked past Tokui, not very impressive or inviting. But the price point was tempting. Only $2 for a sushi roll???? Damn I'm in. Tamago roll (not something I've seen in a long time) Spicy tuna and cucumber Avocado and unagi It's definitely good, fresh and very good value. If you are student or not, tight on money and need a feed. Go to tokui sushi
Located in the CBD, it is probably my go to for lunch. The rolls are priced well and are very generously packed when compared to other stores. And as a bonus, for $1 you can also get Miso soup and free green tea (but I usually take my lunch back to the office as the dining area is a little small). During raining days, I do try and beat the rush, and you can also help yourself to hot green tea when dining in. Definitely give the Spicy Tuna roll a go, its my regular!! The service is quick and very friendly
I love that they have unagi sushi here, as so many places do not have it, especially not in a hand roll. I particularly like the prawn hand rolls here. This is a very good spot to get some quick takeaway lunch - one of the best spots for some good sushi which is also good value! Sushi rolls are affordable and always generously packed. Miso soup is only a dollar and help yourself to hot green tea if you are eating in. The sitting area is small but I have never had trouble finding a seat as most people take away.Best Sushi rolls in the CBD.
I have been going there regularly for the past 10 years. The fish is prepared and fillet constantly in front of your eyes can't be any fresher than that. Friendly and always smiling staff and the prices are the best in Melbourne. It never disappoints
estos rolls a $2 son bastante buenos. están bien armados, y saben a sushi fresco. qué mas se puede pedir por $2? además, incluye toda la salsa de soya y jengibre que uno quiera. antes de cerrar a veces hacen una oferta de 2 rolls por $3.

What a gem. Although there are plenty of sushi shops in the city, this one must be the cheapest (2bux per handroll) and the busiest. The selection is great, simple and the concept really straight forward.
