If I could give this place negative stars I would. Not only was the food disgusting but severely over priced. Got our food, tasted it, thought it was gross, and the waitress never came back. After 20 minutes I had to get up to go look for her. At thispoint I had had enough and just asked for my check. She wouldn 't give it to me, insisted she 'd bring it to us. When she finallydid come over I told her how unhappy we were. She took our plates full of food and said she would speak to the manager, still nocheck. We visited Tom Sawyer Diner for lunch on a Sunday afternoon around 1:45, even though Google Maps indicated a busy crowd. Thankfully, we were seated quickly, and our friendly waitress attended to us. We had to ask for the separate breakfast menu. My husband chose a pastrami corned beef dish loaded with lean meat and accompanied by steamed vegetables instead of fries. I ordered the Reuben sandwich, requesting light on the Russian dressing, and the waitress kindly informed me it’s always served on the side. It 's fine, the food is good but nothing amazing. You get what you expect here. The staff is nice. I didn 't appreciate the additional 3% fee for using a card instead of cash- also note that the prices on the menu are their cash prices so be aware ofthat. No need to go out of your way to eat here but if you 're hungry and nearby it 's not a bad option. (Edited: I stated 3.5%credit card fee earlier but owner 's reminded me in their response that it was 3%. Also, they are correct that it does state onthe menu that it will be charged.

Just okay. My bf and I came here for breakfast. We didn?t like it very much, mainly because of how loud it was in there. After we were seated, a family of six were seated right next to us and they were very loud. The food was okay. They charge a 3% feefor credit and debit card payments. I felt that we paid too much for a experience that we did not enjoy and for food that wasjust okay.
The reviews are spot on. The food is delightful, the decor is lovely, and the establishment is impeccably clean. The staff members are extremely friendly, and the prices are reasonable. I will certainly be back!
