I have frequented this cafe several times now. The first few times we received great service and good food and coffee. The last few times have left me disappointed and we have decided that there are plenty of other cafes around with better service. On one occasion we went to the cafe about an hour and a half before their advertised closing time. We sat outside as it was a lovely day. Five minutes into our coffee, the staff started packing up the seats and umbrellas around us, crashing and banging and making conversation very difficult. I would like to start by saying the food is quite good, similar to what you can cook at home but obviously with the advantage you don't have to cook it! It can be hit and miss. Seems to depend on who is taking orders as well as who is the chef for the day. However, a few months ago the menus were changed. Things that were $3 are suddenly $7 and the children's "half serves" of things in some cases cost MORE than the adult sized serve. I asked about this while there (politely) and was told by a disinterested waitress she doesn't own the place and doesn't determine the pricing. I asked her to ask someone who may know and she just shrugged.
If you're looking for a family friendly place which does a great cup of coffee look no further. Was warmly greeted by staff, great menu - far cry from the deep fried extravaganza menus I'm used to seeing in kid friendly cafes.Friendly service, delicious well presented food. Great kids play space which meant we could actually sit and enjoy our food. Coffee was awesome!Kids loved it. We will be back.
This cafe provides a quality coffee for parents when children are attending swimming lessons. Also a great place for Ginninderra Creek walkers to enjoy some respite. Recommended for parents with young children as there is a play area. My only gripe is the view when sitting on their balcony - a derelict building. Some hanging pot plants could make it more attractive.

in a great location for the primary and swim school. Very well priced - if a little short - menu and lots to entertain the kids. But, the service staff could do better. We were the only customers there, yet a item was forgotten from our order and we received smaller coffees than we'd paid for. Minor points on an otherwise great experience.
I've been here a few times with my child, and without, and enjoyed it each time. It's great that we now have somewhere to go that is truly kid friendly. The food is simple, yummy and well priced and kids can roam around without you feeling worried or guilty. It's just a really easy place to hang out and eat - no complications!
A lovely little cafe that caters for parents with small children. Good coffee and fresh food at a reasonable price and the play area is a bonus for parents. For me the outside area with the water bowl is the draw as I can pop in for a coffee at the end of a long walk with my dog.
Good little cafe located next to a swim school. Nice place to go with a child as they are catered for, both in entertainment and the ability to get food and drinks appropriate for small children.

Service was friendly. Absolutely loved my Mocha (many places fail to make a decent mocha). My kids loved their hot chocolates and milkshakes along with delicious churros! :-)
The kids loved the atmosphere. THe kids craft was great and the food was simple but fresh, and tasty. The Events look great!
