Really nice atmosphere reflecting the style through furniture, decor and music. Pleasing quality of food available. I went for a burger and my partner had the fish burger. I think I enjoyed the burger that bit more actually but nothing wrong with the quality...of either. The deserts were both good. Cheesecake and chocolate cake. If anything the portions were too big. I don't drink lots of coke so the unlimited coke was a bit of a waste and the great and music was on too short a loop. I didn't expect it to be as good as it was and would certainly visit again.
It's OK in here, almost trying too hard to be a Diner for my liking. The food arrived suspiciously quickly, I ordered a veggie burger and wasn't too happy about what I was eating, I think it came straight out of the microwave. The...fries were better, not real potato but they had a big groove down them, great for loading up with mayo. The food and wine wasn't too dear but I probably wouldn't go back here.
THIS PLACE IS ABOVE AVERAGE, the only thing that stops it from being very good was the price. people to eat, soft drinks, starter (nachos) and mains sandwiches and chilli) and one was my tiny yrs old daughter,...who doesn’t eat much. Would really recommend the chilli con carne ... Food was really nice, place was done up well, just a little pricey for what it is.
I've reviewed this before but it deserves a second mention. The food is good, plenty of variety and speedily served by polite, efficient waiting staff. The ambience, for a person of a certain age (ie me ) is lovely and there's always a review...of the news-style table mat to read.

Lots of restaurants in the area to choose from but settled on Tommy’s, selection of food was as expected for an American Diner. Service was very good, waiting staff were efficient and there wasn’t a long wait for anything. The French red wine was good...and the food was tasty.
This American styled diner with a rock and roll theme has a wide selection of burgers including two veggie options, along with the classic Nathan’s hot dogs of Coney Island. The hot dog roll was a bit past its prime, but the meals were tasty,...and served quickly.
Tommy's appears to be new in this location. Staff appeared to lack much experience. Foo was just average, but if they think they can make a steak sandwich, they have not been to South Philadelphia!
The restaurant's decoration is amazing like a real old fashion diner ! The food is really tasty and generous. But we didn't taste the desserts because they are not homemade.

Average American diner. Bright and fluorescent decor..no atmosphere...no music. Very quiet. Food was ok but overpriced. Wouldn't bother again.
