Once I went to the back of the restaurant, I realized that he had only given me $5 as change, which meant he had taken over $10 as a tip without my knowledge. It’s not just about the tip itself; it’s the principle of the situation that I find unacceptable. This experience has deterred me from ordering from this place again, so just be cautious with your money if you choose to order from them. I acknowledge that I should have been more mindful in that moment.
As for the food, the sushi was decent, but I’ve had much better elsewhere. Overall, I would rate the food as average—nothing to write home about.
We absolutely adored this restaurant! The atmosphere was both charming and pristine. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was fantastic—starting with a refreshing salad and a rich lobster bisque that was simply outstanding! The sushi we tried was also excellent. The highlight, however, was the pricing! I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable the bill was, especially considering how delicious everything tasted. We can't wait to return! It was so enjoyable that we didn't even take any pictures. We're thrilled to have discovered this hidden gem.
The people who work here seem nice friendly, just service is a bit slow. At first, I thought the sushi was good/ok so I ordered again since it’s close to me and convenient. But I don’t know, something about the taste each time has put me off. The sushi doesn’t taste that great. The spicy crab roll is decent. But the pork gyoza with the sauce does not taste right, and the first bite I took I felt something hard inside. Freaks me out about the meat inside and what that could have been. Grounded meat mixed with bone, cartilage? Ugh, no thanks
The sushi is good here! But I have been ordering online a couple times and usually tip online. The first time I ordered it took 2 hours. This delivery man gave me my food he was demanding a tip as I was about to close the door. The second time which wastoday he had my bag of food in one hand and a receipt in the other. He was waiting to give me my bag asking for another tipbecause the one I tipped was not enough! I had told him I tipped online! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! This place used to be so good. ??

The food was good, though I've experienced better at this restaurant before. The rolls were fresh and nicely assembled, with the Yonkers roll being the standout. I also tried the gorilla roll and Kani salad. While the sweet potato could have had a bit more crunch, the shrimp and mango were so fresh and flavorful that they didn't need any sauce. Overall, the Kani salad was quite delicious.
We often do take out and in person dining here. Definitely one of the better sushi options in the area. Always fresh, good portions and service is wonderful. The restaurant itself is clean, well lit, nice ambiance, music at comfortable volume and the servers and cooks are just so sweet and friendly. We've been ordering here for over a year and have never had a bad batch or bad service.
Good food but the Shumai pastry wasn't firm enough and the Calamari was too firm. It seemed to have been a large tentacle that is too big to put in your mouth and unable to bite off without actually using my hand. It needs a breaking point at least.Food: 4/5
LITERAL PLASTIC. I was halfway through my meal and chewing a piece of beef negimaki. I kept chewing thinking I had just gotten a tough part of the meat. NOPE. Spat it out and saw it was a piece of plastic wrap. So appalled right now.

I ordered the rock shrimp tempura appetizer and shrimp fried rice. Both were lacking in flavor. Mediocre best… Practically forced myself to eat so that it wouldn’t be a total waste. Wrapped up my meal wishing I had dined elsewhere:
