This place is like Chipotle, except ten times better. They have imo, the BEST hard shell shredded beef tacos in all of SoCal. You can customize it with their fresh ingredients and salsas any way you like, you can even have all sauces on the side too if you like. Literally, everything on the menu that they serve is delicioso. Puffy tacos, soft tacos, nacho plates, the sides like spanish rice, pinto or refried beans, its all very fresh and the flavor is popping. The only downside to Tom's is that they only have one location, but still it's worth the trip to La Mirada if you're in the North OC/South LA county area. Ordered super fries, lots of toppings. Asked for green sauce, one small container so my grandson asked for one more because there was so much food. The woman behind the counter said we only give one per order. She then charged me $2.00 for a small container of green salsa. Most Mexican restaurants have a little bar setup so you can get your salsa yourself. So $17.00 for an order of super fries. Only second time I've been in here and took many other small Mexican places to go in our area.
I love their food up til recently. Now they are telling me I HAVE TO HAVE RICE in the food. No one is going to tell me what to eat. If that is going to go on, I will NEVER eat there again. I have ordered many many many times before. Sorry to see you lose all the money I spend there.
Amazing smell with cool prices for food. Clean restroom, nice staff. You could also see them make your food from where you order. I ate chili fries and they came out really good and yummy

We got a complimentary chip appetizer that then cost $7. A bit strange. Other than that the Caesar salad was good. Fries were yummy. Good service. Clean
They are one of the best Mexican fast food/ dine in restaurants i have ever been to. And the food is beyond delicious. PS try there tri tip burritos.
