I expected a better value for the price of the sandwich. I got the GF bread so this may have changed it, but in the picture its a regular sandwich bun. I got regular sandwich bread instead which was not as filling. It was not a flavorful as I imagined it would be and it was soggy by the time it arrived, so should have got the sauce on the side. The customer service was good, and the order got here relatively quickly. They missed the CBD Blackberry drink I ordered, and said they would issue me a refund and apologized. The chips were just okay, I ordered Jalapeno and they called me for a modification. I would have preferred salt but they were out so I just got salt and vinegar, wouldnt have go...
My wife and I tried Tony and Pete's for the first time through DoorDash. We ordered the TONY and TURKEY PESTO sandwiches, both of which were delicious and made with high-quality ingredients. I am a sandwich lover and will definitely be ordering from Tony and Pete's again. Despite the slightly higher cost, the value of the sandwiches is worth it. If you're hesitant about the price, give them a try - you won't be disappointed. If you're looking for a cheap option, this may not be the place for you. But if you want good value, Tony and Pete's is the way to go.
I tried the Tony sandwich and it was excellent. However, the menu is limited and I would like to see more sandwich options with different combinations of meat, cheese, and toppings. The side dishes and salads are also limited and could use some expansion. It seems that there is a demand for more food businesses in the city, so perhaps focusing on a sandwich shop could be a better business decision.Overall, I think the restaurant could benefit from either expanding its menu or focusing on a specific concept like sandwiches.
I would give this restaurant a 5-star rating solely based on the delicious sandwiches. However, the sides and soup were quite disappointing. The 2-ounce Giardiniera and side of bread and butter pickles were overpriced and not very satisfying. The Cuppa Soup Calabrian Potato was more like a spicy porridge than a soup. On the bright side, the Turkey Pesto sandwich was phenomenal and the portion size was impressive for the price.

The STRETTOS SPICY SALAMI sandwich at this restaurant was phenomenal! It is easily one of the best sandwiches in Dayton. The honey added a unique touch and the bread was exceptional. Tony did a fantastic job making it spicy, giving it a delicious kick! I highly recommend it, the bread alone is outstanding and sets it apart from other options in the area. 10/10 rating!
I had the White Collar and Laurie had the West Coast Veg both sandwiches were incredible! Not to mention the selection of beverages and little juice box sake to take with you to the Levitt Pavilion. What a great addition to our little downtown!

The atmosphere at this restaurant is impeccable. The sandwich was so delicious, it made my taste buds sing!
