I like this place, reminds me of Portillos in Chicago. The service is really not that friendly. I cannot eat poppy seeds so I asked if there was a substitute and she flat out said NO. I asked about the brat and made sure it was a French roll and she said yes. I get my order and it is on a poppy seed bun. I tell her I cannot eat that, she gets a bit annoyed and takes it back. Of course the seeds are all over my fries. It does not take much to be friendly, I felt like I was bothering her.
Excellent food! I have eaten here for years, and since the burgers are so righteous, we usually split one burger. This has never been an issue before. They would cut the burger and put it into two plastic (paper-lined) baskets. There are no more plastic baskets. They now serve the food in cardboard baskets. I was shocked when I looked at my receipt and saw a $1.50 charge for cutting the burger in half and using one extra cardboard piece.
Food was not good. I felt sick after eating it and wish we had not stopped. Food is bland and needed some sauces and seasonings. Fries were end of the batch. I'm not a fast food eater but other fast food places are better. Definitely a pass.
Hot dogs and service great just don't get the burger worst burger I ever had WOW what a reply It had ONE WRINKLY PIECE OF BACON !!!!! And the non existing cheese...that was the problem but you jumped to it being well done .. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Nice little spot with easy access. Nothing really outstanding about the food or ambience. If your starving or just craving a hot dog, this might be a spot for you. Aside from that unremarkable at best.
They gave me a soggy bun with mediocre sausage and beef and seemed to come right out of the microwave. Considering the great reviews we decided to go, but that was a mistake. Won’t be going again.
Being from NY and craving a good dawg went here based on great reviews. Hotdog was ok bun was soggy and onions were soggy not carmelized to bring out the taste. Fries were good.
I had a craving for a Chicago beef sandwich. Extra juicey with hot jiardinera and I left a happy camper. Love their touch of authentic Chicago food. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
It would be nice if they had fans for the outside bar area... Cold beer isn't enough this Summer!
