My family takes the time to critique good or bad... We got to Tonys and the place was going off...So busy at 8:30...It was a family trip so had my wife and eight year old daughter...had to wait for about 30 mins.... The wait was so Worth it..The Bartenders made perfect drinks and Shirley Cocktail for daughter....The Server was old school 10 0ut of 10...I watched the staff full hands in and out of kitchen precision like a machine....Culture was so positive and Mgmt did there touch points to check on us...And they were sincere no small talk and very engaging... Was not seated in a timely manner and one of our steaks was undercooked sent it back to bring it from a medium rare to medium and it didn’t return until everyone was almost finished eating the time it took I thought they were fixing a new one but didn’t brought the one back at the end of our dinner. We sent the recooked steak back and they took it off the bill but made no explanation for why it took so long to return not sure why they wouldn’t initiate some sort of remedy before we had to basically remove the steak from our order. RIDICULOUSLY LOUD. IMPOSSIBLE TO HAVE ANY KIND OF CONVERSATION WITHOUT SCREAMING. Won’t be back. Great service but awful ambiance.
Our service and food was excellent as always. Coming from a Lexingtonian, Tony’s is the best food experience in the city.
