I attended a Mom's Night Out event here, and I had a fantastic time! This charming little spot in downtown Verona truly caught my attention. The concept is great: you hand your credit card or ID to the bartender, and they give you a card to use at the wine bar. I loved being able to choose the pour size and serve myself—there's something really satisfying about that. The selection of wines on tap was impressive, and the bartender was very attentive, promptly replacing any empty bottles. The only downside was the limited seating available. This restaurant has a fun atmosphere and is a great choice for a casual date night. The decor is fairly standard, but the seating is comfortable. The wine dispensing machinery might have affected the quality, or perhaps it was just an off selection during my visit, but I found the three wines I tried to be somewhat lackluster and tasting a bit stale. On the positive side, you can sample smaller portions like I did, so you're not locked into just one wine. The prices are also very reasonable.
The wine selection here varies from poor to mediocre—don't expect anything exceptional. The menu can be a bit complicated, and overall, prices are quite high. During my few visits, the service has ranged from grumpy to overwhelmed. The atmosphere is nice, but the venue is quite small. I'll give it another shot after they relocate to their new space.
The atmosphere is fantastic, and the wine dispenser and charging system are really impressive! I can definitely see myself coming here for a small group gathering after work (about 3-4 people) to enjoy a cozy glass of wine. This place is an experience, not just a bar! The team is so nice. The whole place is refined and has designed an excellent atmosphere to relax the patrons. The cheese plates are an excellent pairing with the wine. The music is not too loud. There's no better wine bar in 100 miles.
