My friend had a coupon deal for Biryani & I tagged along even though it has a carnivore menu with two fish curries. I do occasionally eat fish if I have to so I ordered the chilli fish curry from one of the hot boxes & my friend ordered the mild fish (can't actually remember the name off hand) It was a lunch box deal for two so there was rice included which had all different coloured rice grains along with a huge lump of chicken & some tiny pieces. I skipped the rice as I do not eat chicken. There was also a naan (fluffy & crisp) & a dessert -semolina based & very sweet (as Indian sweets tend to be) Put it this way I would have given this place a higher score if...
I love this place. It reminds me of the wonderful Indian food in my home country of Malaysia, hot, spicy and tasty. One of the things to note is that there are around 12 to 15 curries to choose from, and each will definitely taste different to the next.The Chicken or Lamb Biriyani is excellent as well.. but if you fancy steam rice with curries, then you will have a feast of flavours in your mouth.Naan bread though can be improved, it's a little thin.The shop environment is simple, it's not overly classy, but is clean. Overall, each time I have lunch or dinner there, I've not been disappointed with what I have had.Give it a go!
Atmosphere is very busy in the evening due to cheap take away. Little bit improved the oil content from the last time. Still they have to reduce the oil content in their curries and different types of Biriyani. Prices are reasonable. All the other curry shop give a away free rice with each curry..but this shop always charge $1.20 that's unacceptable compared to others. Food is tasty. But please reduce the oil..I know it's preservative to keep few days...But we do not want to die soon after eating too oily curries.
Their curries are the best. One of the advantages of this place is all the curries are on display & one can taste the curries before placing the order. They used to make ginger chicken but not anymore. It used to be awesome. Also i haven't even seen fire chicken for a while now, it was good for the people who love spicy food. I would recommend them to put ginger chicken back in their menu. Irrespective we love takeaways from there.

You cant miss this one, especially if you love Indian cuisine! Really good value for money, heaps of choices. If you aren't sure on the spice or heat level just ask the staff, don't blame the food :). You can tell that the curries don't come out of a jar, they are made from scratch. Not a lot of Indian restaurants I would recommend but this one stands out for sure! They also have a vegetarian restaurant so everyone wins.
Well freshly made dishes every day. It's hard to pick a dish which would not taste nice. Prices are good. The biryani and butter chicken are two of my favourites. Their thali deal is value for money. Definitely recommended !!
Generally do not like food from hot boxes but this wasn't bad. However I think you had better prepare yourself for a full on chilli hit, personally I prefer a milder curry for the fish dish I chose. Bread was great.
At least the food here resembles some of the stuff you actually get in India, unlike most of the Indian restaurants in Brisbane.
Great flavours and spice, but often a bit too oily.
Well priced for Indian fare.

The curry selection and taste is excellent and the service is quick. The biriani is excellent but the naan bread was a bit dry.The prices are very cheap. Great to buy in bulk and take away.
