Don't be fooled by the nice view!! We were a group of 6 for dinner a few weeks ago and our experience was a negative one. We ordered a beet salad which was not at all what the menu described. It didn't have cashews, feta, lettuce or peppers as we ordered. When we told the server( who was very young and sweet) she said oh... ya we changed the food a bit?? Also a friend orderd pasta with white wine sauce and it was so dry with hardly any sauce and a few small shrimp. They argued with us that it did have sauce but we could see how dry it was in the bowl. The prices were very high for what we got as well Salads 12$ and avg entree 32. Not worth it!! Wow! I can not say enough positives about this place. Being part of a marina I really didn't expect the high quality that we received. The food was fresh, well prepared, beautifully displayed, and absolutely delectable. The chef is right there carefully preparing the meal and is worth every penny they are paying him if not more. Service and the surroundings were also outstanding. This meal was equal to any that we have had in very fine restaurants at a fraction of the cost. if you live or are visiting Honey Harbor it is a must go. If you live in Midland or Perry Sound, it is definitely worth the trip to this restaurant. I sure wish I lived closer but we were traveling from the United States...
We dined there a few weeks ago with another couple. When we arrived we were greeted by our server and asked to be seated on the deck outside. We received our drinks quickly and proceeded to order some appetizers to share. We had the calamari and a caesar salad to start and both were excellent. I ordered the burger and my wife ordered the fish and chips. The burger was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The fries were crisp and yummy. I dined here for lunch with 5 friends. The young server was excellent, pleasant, personable and knowledgeable. Most had the fish and chips, I had the beef dip sandwich. all lunches were very good.The Fries were excellent. This is higher end dining right on georgian bay. We didn't expect to find a fancy restaurant in the area, but this one is quite fancy. It has a high end restaurant dinner menu. The food was very tasty, but the portions were rather small even though the price was rather high. Nice views of the marina.
We have a cottage around the corner and this is where we go to tread ourselves once in a while. The food is absolutly five star worthy although I do wish the menu would vary more often. Would recommend to anyone in the area looking for fine dining while on vacation in cottage country
This restaurant offers a great view on the water at the marina in South Bay ,Georgian Bay. Cruise up the the full service marina in your vessel and treat yourself to a fantastic meal and wine all on site.

Beautiful setting for first class food and experience, the sunsets are spectacular for a beautiful end to the day. Love the new patio overlooking the marina! Well worth visiting.
