We had heard about the Top of the World Lounge and wanted to give him a chance. We chose the Wicked Wind Down and it was a great choice when we finally got there. Luckily we've built in extra travel time because it was a crazy house. Backup on the one-way from the Polynesian that led to a huge backup alert on the elevator to go to the lobby because you go to the north elevator to check and up to the 16. floor to be scanned. We took down the stairs (a lot faster), just to find that 1 of the 3 elevators ran. Once we finally got into the lounge, things have improved immediately. They were able to accommodate our larger than standard party and gave us large seats together from one of the windows...
First of all you can ONLY access this lounge if you are part of the DVC Program at Disney. A Member must check in at the podium near the elevator and be placed on a short waiting list. You receive a text message when it 's your time to go up. The room itself is small with limited seating, but comfy seats!The view is spectacular. The drinks are amazing. The service is also excellent.You can 't go a stay in Disney as a DVC Member without going to the Top of the World Lounge!!!In fact, you can also access the Lounge and stay outside on the terrace overlooking the Magic Kingdom during the fireworks in the evening. We've been frequenting this lounge for many years and have always had a great experience. However, this time we discovered a long hair in our sandwich. I understand that accidents can happen, but the manager's response was incredibly disappointing. He barely acknowledged us and didn't offer an apology. While they did remove the food from our bill, we were left unable to eat anything afterward. I requested a glass of wine, and my husband asked for the coffee we hadn't finished, but the manager brought those to us and added them to the bill. After this experience, we have no plans to return. After visiting for the first time since COVID, I found that the restaurant, now called The Villain's Lair, offers a fantastic experience. It's a great spot to: 1) enjoy the Magic Kingdom fireworks, 2) sip on a villainous beverage, 3) savor a giant hot Bavarian pretzel, and 4) share a delectable slice of Chocolate Seven Lair cake. While the drinks and food can be quite pricey, with some signature cocktails exceeding $20, the stunning views and unique atmosphere make it a special outing worthwhile—especially if you're staying at Bay Lake Tower!

I loved it here! The first time on Saturday and we have to see the fireworks. Even better than the show was the service and experience. Our server Marr was fantastic! She gave us recommendations and was very attentive. Our cocktails and food were all fantastic. Loved the mood above all with the villain themes you could try and books around. I can also say that there is nothing but to go to any institution and see that people love their jobs! Everyone had a real smile and it made the experience for us. We're coming back!
The restaurant has been beautifully revamped with a villain-themed decor. We chose to sit at the bar, where we received outstanding service from Jacob, an exceptional mixologist. It's a fantastic spot for unique cocktails and small plates. Please note that a DVC membership is required to dine here.
Spectacular views of the fireworks over Disney. Members only location. Large outside deck area for conversations and views. The inside is elegant and seats a smaller amount of people. Large bar and menu for delicious decadents. Fun place to enjoy and unwind after a fun filled day in the parks.
