My husband ordered the Horse and Hole, while I chose the roast beef and cheese on a bun. The buns are incredibly fresh and fluffy, yet sturdy enough to hold up to sauces and dips. Honestly, the roast beef sandwich here is really good—actually, it’s perfect. Conveniently located, it’s a great spot to grab a delicious sandwich after a hockey game. While $16 is steep for the sandwich, the quality of the meat and bun definitely justifies it. However, the $4 fries and $5 soda felt overpriced, and the fries were just average. The staff member wearing black and white Chuck Taylors was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and happily refilled our drinks, making us feel genuinely welcome.
