Really disappointed with this place. This is at least our third year of visiting. My dad’s salmon teriyaki was served raw. When he alerted our server, she took it back to the kitchen where they cooked the SAME piece of salmon and plated it back on the same dish. I have never experienced this happening in a restaurant… usually you get an entirely new dish if there is an issue and certainly not the SAME piece of problematic food. The issue was also not compensated on the bill. My husband ordered a side of noodles, and was told nothing when ordering. Pros: competitive pricing, happy hour until 7 with great discounts, nice atmosphere, and the server was nice/friendly/sufficient.Cons: the nigiri was not served as cold as I would have liked it. Also the use a really cheap Takka vodka in there specialty drinks gross. Be sure to request a liquor upgrade to avoid the headache. The crab puffs had zero crab. Tasted like straight cream cheese. The calamari was not good at all. We actually had to send it back. There was zero seasoning and it tasted like the grease may have been old. I’m a big sushi person, I’d have to say this is one of my least places to come eat. I took my friend and I to come eat and they literally charged me $1 for Sriracha when it wasn’t even the REAL sriracha sauce!! Also let people know there’s an up charge for it, even if it’s just $1. Insane seriously, my friend seriously felt sick after eating there and threw up her food. Akashi is better or Uni sushi!!! also how do you guys not have lo mein noodles lol. It took the server 10+ to give us the bill and it was slow, they only had 2 other tables there at the restaurant.
Had good service and good atmosphere, but to be honest mid sushi is a better name for this establishment. Got 6 rolls and I mean I still ate it, but my wife didn’t, and we were starving. I’m used to another place nearby that is same price and makes their rolls taste like trash. Ill try again if other people want to go, and maybe it was an off day, but gotta leave honest review. This was my 1st time eating here. I had an amazing experience, plus I was in the company of someone I hadn’t seen in 32 years. I highly recommend this restaurant and the food. I’m a foodie, and I love to travel. I will be back!
Had another great lunch today at Top Sushi! The Food and service here are always top-notch. . My server Dean took excellent care of me. I will definitely be returning soon again.
